There's not too much going on this Saturday on the Fetish calendar but you could try Club Rub, don't think they have a darkroom but it is a friendly club and a good one for dipping your toe in ...
Mods edit: Details on the club listings page.
Arousal over in Dunstable have their own kinky fetish night also but I personally didn't rate it as it was more like a swingers idea of what a fetish night is rather than what an actual fetish night run by fetishists is ... if that makes sense.
Not sure what you mean by 'non-scene' but anyway, would have thought your best bet is going to be a fetish club ... not sure that there's anything specifically CD/TV that night as it's a Thurs ... suggest you check these resources ...

Am I doing something wrong?
I have written to Amber with Munch but had no reply......banghead
Andrew x:undecided:

Yup, same here but my pm hasn't been read yet so yeah, looks a bit iffy ...
As someone else said, hope nothing wrong.
I filled in the online form earlier and have just had an email back from him confirming membership, just making sure that means I'm good for tomorrow :-)
Hoping to get along to that - membership pending though I used to go when they were in central London.
I don't think the change is only about members only clubs, it was always discrimation to charge different pricing based on gender, this change is aimed at closing the loophole. I could be wrong, but I don't think so - if that were the case and you could get around it simply by not having membership - why bother with the law in the first place?
I wouldn't bother going to a club that was full of single guys either, but I do think it's absolutely right that this change was brought in.
... now if we could do something about fleecing motorists next ... ;-)

no....not neccessarily......firstly you could say one single male to be let in for every single male !!
However the way I saw it working..was you set a limit.....so if club had a maximum attendance allowed of 100.....you would say..no more than 50 males....or 50 females.
That way....the club can regulate the amount of males allowed in to suit. However what they would not be able to do...was to charge any differant. So the club can easily regulate the ratio, and make sure the club does not become over-run with guys. What this will probably mean is that the guys will have to get their early to ensure they are permitted in. No reason why this can not work, and would be with-in the framework of the new legislation.

Sounds sensible to me.
I think a lot of clubs were charging single guys excessive entrance and membership fees not simply as a means of keeping even ratios because I don't think that happened in practice - hence all the complaints from couples about all the single guys swamping a club - but also because it (1) allowed them to give free entry to single females and cheap subsidised entry to couples, and (2) keep the club going as making a club couples and single girls only, not many of them would probably survive.
TG Halloween on the Saturday ...
AntiChrist possibly on the Friday ...

If I recall te originl post correctly it said 'private members clubs' it therefore presumably would not apply to somewhereike Rios which is not a private members club. Which reminds me to mmenton this to Colin next time Isee him

I could be wrong but I don't think it's the case that this only applies to private members clubs, any club/venue private membership or otherwise has to apply the same pricing policy to its customers. This change closes a loophole.

... and it has to be said that despite that biase, in some (many?) clubs, you'd still see big imbalances with a lot more single guys than you'd expect to see if the aim was purely about ratios.

If the pricing structure changes as you suggest then expect to see even bigger imbalances. No one suggests that the pricing structure of clubs is fair to single guys but realistically, if it is changed to one where each person pays the same, expect to spend a lot of time in the sole company of men. You can have fair or you can have fun, but I doubt that you can have both.
Can't believe I spelt bias wrong!
You could well be right though I don't think the situation you talk about - big imbalances - is a new thing as it happens already. Guys won't keep going to clubs where its just full of guys either even with a single pricing structure so I reckon after a while the scene will settle back to something more like the current situation anyway. It's like the whole fuss over the smoking ban when people where going on about pubs/clubs etc seeing a massive drop in business, that hasn't really happened, people make a fuss then get used to it.
Time will tell.

this rule will just make swingers clubs into gay clubs as couples wont pay double and allready on the grapevine cpls are moving to prvt party venues

Don't understand that logic - someone said the same thing on a fetish website - how are a couple paying double when a couple = 2 people??? They wouldn't be, they'll simply be paying the same as everyone else.
In terms of pricing, say a club currently charges £50 single guys, free for single girls and £20 for couples, I very much doubt the change will mean couples paying £100, what probably would happen is the previously single guy price will go down to something more realistic that everyone would pay, eg. £20 each individual or something along those lines.
You've just explained perfectly how couples will pay double. Couples that previously paid £20 would then pay £40 - ie. double, as funlovin said.
It will be a fairer pricing structure certainly, and will also mean far fewer couples in clubs - hence the comment about them becoming gay clubs because there will only be single guys there.
That doesn't really follow, if they had been paying £20 before then they were lucky because they benefitted from the price imbalance when single guys were being charged £50 (in our example), more than double what couples paid. Now all it means is that they will be charged the same as everyone else, as individuals, a fairer pricing structure.
Now, I certainly can see why the old pricing structure sort of existed, but it WAS discriminatory and I think it's disingenuous to try and pretend it wasn't ... just for a moment pretend that single girls were being charged £50 and single guys got in for free ... and it has to be said that despite that bias, in some (many?) clubs, you'd still see big imbalances with a lot more single guys than you'd expect to see if the aim was purely about ratios.
Depending on where it happens on the Thurs, I may be able to get along later in the evening. PM sent last week I think.

You might be better off posting something like this on a website like Informed Consent or FetLife than on a swingers website ...
I can certainly understand why clubs do that, we can debate the rights/wrongs of that but it's just symantics in the end and it is discrimation purely on the basis of gender so I think it's right that the loophole should be closed.
Halloween TG is quite possibly their most popular event of the year and I think you'll enjoy it so do go. It's going to be at 'Debut' which is a massive venue very close to London Bridge, they have performances during the night and 6 separate themed rooms (eg. show area, dance floor, couples room, dungeon). Always a great fun crowd, no pressure to do anything if you don't want to so you could people/perve watch all night if you wanted to. Dress code is the usual fetish, uniforms, miliary, fantasy, burlesque etc (check out the galleries on their website etc to get an idea), you don't have to spend a fortune on new outfits or anything like that, I haven't, though black trousers and t-shirt won't get you in. I'll certainly be there, probably tarting around in one of the dungeons, or just socialising in general.
Night before that a club called Antichrist has their Halloween - that's a Goth/Fetish crossover crowd.
Hope that helps. :-)

Excellent!
I don't feel there's any real purpose to be gained from the rspca pursuing this any further. She's been identified, ridiculed and hung-drawn-quartered by the press for her silliness - that's punishment enough in my view and there are far worse things going on around us.
I used it initially, but then the toll fee went up and up so I went back to using the M6 as before going past Birmingham. £5 is ridiculous and to be honest, at the times I drive through there, the traffic isn't actually all that bad.
Noticed it was slow/down yesterday but think that was scheduled maintenance or something, seems fine now ...
Lots of rushing around for me that day but look forward to seeing you all at some point in the proceedings :-)
OMG! You'll never believe it but I've got another wedding to go to that very same day! I suspect that one will go on later than last weekends wedding but if I can at all make it along - especially if you're partying into Sunday, I'd like to come along to this one also  am hoping that's the only coincidence as don't fancy having to wear sunglasses again lol
Really enjoyed last night, was great to put some faces to names/ids and lots of thanks to the Chings for all the work that went into organising it. Look forward to seeing everyone again
 Look forward to meeting you all ... and hoping my left eye is better (long story, did my brown belt yesterday, went well but after visit to A+E this morning, was told I have a scratch on the cornea so it feels like I've got something in my eye right now, it'll take a few days to fully heal), or I'll be the weird guy in sunglasses indoors! redface
Just a quick question on the offchance there's more than one group of people at the location, how do I recognise the SH group? Don't want to shock any innocents
Think I'll be free in the evening after all, please can you message me the details for where and when and may I be added to the attend list
