I reckon there must be stuff going on.
All that 'making contact' with nature, ley lines and general love vibes etc etc has to be contusive to some action......!!

The poor guys ego has been damaged, or at least put out of balance.
He needs to restore equilibrium.
In my experience this can be done by going out on the raz and pulling.
It make you feel wanted again.....
Obviously if your very drunk the pulling is easier (more confidence and lower standards!).
Think of the first pull as the first step back on the ladder of happiness.
