Fanfuckingtastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were planning a once a month outing but we're going again this weekend. With regard to my initial query, the inclusivity at the club was fabulous and I feel a bit daft for worrying. Suffice to say, much fun was had by all - there is clearly, however, the potential for much more and I am dead keen to get on with it. Work really gets in the way of a good time! Didn't know I had it in me (Ha Ha).

It's a truth universally acknowledged that a member of the public in search of a slap in the face will ultimately cross your path at some stage. I wholeheartedly agree with all the previous comments - perhaps I can add my favourite 'moan' of recent months.
Last year, me and all my colleagues were made redundant from one of the 'big four' banks. Most of my job had already migrated to India and the rest was moving to another UK location. As part of the fun, we were required to train our UK replacements, who travelled to our city en masse to receive said training, fully accommodated for several months in a rather nice hotel, all expenses paid. Bearing in mind this was a fairly uneasy situation, I am proud to say that we all tried our best to act professionally, train the new bods and get on with the job of trying to move on. One morning, in the middle of a particularly fraught week (try teaching the equivilent of 800 years experience in 6 months; you'll get what I mean), one of the new girls came into work. "Everything going OK?" I asked. "No, not really." she replied. Worried that the training was insufficient, I asked what was wrong. ............................................................The reply? "I really, really don't like the wallpaper in my room." For fuck's sake - I pity anyone who still banks with them!!!
I've got a new job now.

Hi you two
What lovely, happy pics - I can really only echo what's already been said here. Vix you looked divine and you clearly make the perfect couple. Fair to say say there was more moisture than at the usual wedding...!
lots of love to you both.

Morning Simon
I'm new to this too (see my thread started today for more info). I can't help feeling this is going to be an interesting journey and an awful lot of fun! Hope it's as good for you as I think it will be for me.

Hello all you lovely people! I've been browsing the site for a couple of weeks to get a feel (as it were) of the scene. Me and my husband are off on our first adventure this Saturday to a well-renowned club in Yorkshire and we're both really excited, if a little apprehensive! I've been so impressed by the sense of camaradarie on these pages, which has definitely played a part in easing the nerves, but I wonder if any of you could perhaps offer a few tips on newbie protocol - we hope to make this a part of our lives and don't want to mess up first time.
I guess we'l meet some of you at some stage - I'm 38 (last Monday) and my husband is 51. We love cooking, collecting books, films and shagging. We've both been exerting ourselves since the new year in an attempt to get fitter and haven't done too badly. Does everyone have issues with body image to begin with? I think that's our biggest worry, which is probably pretty shallow. I blame the media!!!!! By the way, referring to a previous thread, I watched R and J on Tuesday and the couple from Liberation gave an excellent account of swinging and hopefully changed a few minds.
On a purely technical note, I am also fairly new to forums and I can't figure out how to reply to an existing thread (sorry fellow newbie Simon - I did try!)Help please!
Look forward to hearing from you, meeting up and........................................???
