Serendipity, you are right about the forums, and i thank you for responding 
i was more refereing to chat rooms and peoples ads, i wouldnt say it inst as hard for couples or single females, but sort of understandably people are put of by single males, but then there are also a huge amount of men on this site and others like, by far outnumbering the women. i understand also people shouldnt expect to just jump in their end everybody want them, no matter how good looking they think they are, i think that i would be apprehensive about meeting a single bloke i didnt know if i was a girl.

Great ideas, i think that the problem is for new people is that the people who are already here are friends its hard for the new members to get people intersted in talking to you, id love to get to you and the other members and share with you everything i can about myself.

Sex assembly you are right it is rubbish, i have been from one relationship to the next since i was seventeen, one girl for 4 years, have wanted to try getting into this scene for ages, but the girls ive been with have thought it was for pervs and wernt interested, now ive found myself single, i thought i will see what its about, but seems the people my ex`s thought were pervs (and i defended them) now think im a perv because im a single m, crazy. i understand there are some desperate saddos about, but its unfair to slate everyone.
this is the only chance ive had to properly see what its all about, because i havent been lucky enough to find someone who shares my interest, boo hoo hoo. not fair.
