I'm not sure you're actually correct and if you read about the Ched Evans case on the following link,
you'll see that Ched was convicted of even though,
There was no complaint of , no forensic evidence, no injury and no complaint
the 'victim' maintained in Court that she could not remember anything at all
the police acknowledged that the only evidence that sexual activity had taken place was the admissions from Ched and his friend Clayton.
My wife and I were shocked when we read what had happened in the Ched Evans case and the website disclosing the true facts rather than what was in the press and the media makes interesting / worrying reading.

We've lived in the Vendee not too far from La Roche sur Yon for 10 years now but with you saying you'll be house hunting in Brittany and Normandy we're thinking you'll only be coming as far south as the north of the Pays de la Loire which seems a pity. But c'est la vie lol.
But if there's anything you're not sure about with regards to buying a house or living in France we'll be happy to help or advise you as best we can and if we don't know the answer to anything you might ask we'll probably be able to let you know where to find the info you require.
But one thing you might find interesting is the website on the following link,

This link will take you to the Brittany section and you'll be able to browse through the ads for Normandy and Pays de la Loire as well and while some of the ads on there are quite interesting, translating the ads has also helped to improve my French and I feel confident that if any of our French friends wanted to talk about domination or submission or spanking or fucking or wanking etc I'd have no problem having that conversation. What a pity though that none of our French friends, or English friends for that matter, have ever seemed to suggest that they might be interested in having a conversation like that lol.

If you haven't done so already, if you, click on the 'Search' button at the top right hand corner of the page and then, once you get on to the search page scroll down to the bottom left hand corner and in the 'Search for the words' box type 'France' and then click the green 'Search' button in the bottom right hand corner, you'll see the details
of SH members who live in France and you'll find there are a few peole living in the Normandy / Brittany areas who might just be pleased to see you guys lol.
But one thing you should consider is that the weather in Normandy and Brittany can sometimes be a bit on the damp side and if this is the case and you fancy it a bit warmer and drier you might want to think about going a few miles further south as the weather in the Pays de la Loire can often be completely different to what it's like further north.
