Point taken about not visiting the listed sites, I certainly don't bother. Around Leicester there's been lots of police attention lately which has probably put of the less "hardened" doggers off, and I'm sure that the attention is down to the petty crime and anti-social behaviour associated with the sites.
Although I've blamed boy racers etc for spoiling the fun, a share of the blame has to lie with the idiots that go in broad daylight when there are families/children around and don't behave responsibly.
Anyhow, it might be a case of bolting the stable door after the horse has legged it, but maybe by publicising dogging a little less obviously, it might help de-popularise the popular sites and improve the situation a little.
Of course, there is a certain other swinging website (run by a certain couple who seem more interested in becoming the next big porn company) where dogging sites are openly discussed on a board with no thought as to the problems it might cause. Chances are that many of the popular sites are already on this certain website...

Hi guys, just a thought - would it be and idea to take the list of dogging locations off the main site? Another option might be to only let registered forum or site users view the list of locations?
People could still share locations in the forum or between themselves through the profile/ad system. One big problem with dogging sites is the massive numbers of idiots and boy racers - although it won't stop the problem entirely, we can at least make it a bit more difficult for the spoilers to find out about the dogging sites?
Just seems a bit daft that you can't post a dogging location in the forum, yet theres a long list available by clicking on the "Dogging" link above!

Annoys me when some members post responses like that, can't we all be a bit more welcoming? Some might think it is a silly question but remember, not everyone has lots of experience in these sorts of things.... have some consideration! Then we can all be happy, happy, happy.... surprised

In answer to the original post, then I would say the guy probably was inviting you over, although never can be certain... he was probably also waiting from some sort of response from you. He might not have had the bottle to walk up the car and ask outright, some find it easier to make initial contact by flashing their car lights etc, not all guys are as outgoing as you might think.

From what I've heard the problem was some idiots exposing themselves and propositioning anything that moved in broad daylight. It's a bit dumb really - a) if you're gonna do it in the daytime, pick somewhere away from families and children and b) don't assume everyone at a dogging spot is there for the dogging.
Might be a blessing in disguise as Burbage was getting a bit silly at times so hopefully the idiots won't find out the other more secret spots...

Spent a while chatting to a female half of a couple on the Internet and then phone and got on well. Organised a dogging meet. The day of the meet came and a quick text to check it was all go was sent and a positive reply received. Same again at 7pm.

Fair enough excuse if I hadn't heard it at least three times before. It p*sses me right off that people think they can treat single guys like dirt without any hint of courtesy or politeness. I've had enough of it as I'm sure a lot of the other genuine guys out there have.

I know what you are on about though. Me being a bloke, I had a profile on here looking for couples. Low and behold I started getting emails from single men who state they are straight yet insist that they are what I am looking for. Including some quite gross pics too.
I think we should lock every single bloke in a room and not let them out until only one is left. At least that way we will know who is doing all this if it continues. A bit extreme but fair.
A bit harsh, and not at all fair mate. Some guys are decent enough people and follow all the rules. To label all guys as losers and timewasters isn't really fair.
As a single guy, I get cross with the idiots that spoil it for everyone. What also annoys me is when I answer an couple's advert who are looking for guys and I fit all their criteria and don't get a reply. I always put an effort into writing emails and never send out a cut-and-paste reply, always put a few pics (always tasteful lol) and I never get a reply back!
I appreciate that couples get lots of emails and even more timewasters, but if I got a nice, genuine email replying to one of my ads I would send a reply, even if it is just a quick "no thanks". Granted, they may not find me attractive for whatever reason, but thats no reason to be rude. Rightly or wrongly couples do hold all the cards and a minority of them seem to know this and adopt an arrogance that is quite rude. All I'm asking for is a bit of courtesy.
I guess a lot of single guys start off by putting an effort into things, but after a while the less patient of them probably think "Well, I'm not going to get a reply so I'll just send a one liner". Counter productive I know and just adds to the vicious circle....

I went out last night in Leics and frankly it was awful. The "popular sites" were crawling with seriously dodgy looking people and I'm not surprised couples are thin on the ground now cos if I was a husband I wouldn't want my wife around. I've been dogging for about four years now and things have been gradually getting worse.
Seems the minorities (or majorities now) are spoiling things for the serious doggers, and although I know of a couple of less popular spots even these are suffering.
Thing is though, what can we do about it?
