Didnt mean to offend anyone, but I am still young enough to remember the frustration experienced when I was a young guy out looking for some fun. Wasn't easy to understand what seems like mixed messages and I was just trying to help put the original poster at ease.
Kitkat: Just assumed that you would have had more than one partner being on a swingers forum an all. Guess shouldn't be so quick to make judgements.

Funny how most people say that it doesnt matter, but it clearly does matter when you see the poll results (unless there is multiple voting of course). It is not always fair but people will always have some prejudices even if they don't want to admit it in public.
To Kitkat: when I was younger sleeping with women 20 years older than my taught me quiet a lot :twisted: , and so I dont see the problem with any age really so long as there is some sort of attraction.
Will be interesting to work out the average age on here though. Nice question.

I think Heather is right. No matter how frank the converstaion is with female friends there is always a point where they wont go beyond. Its probably because there are a load of repressed relationships out there I guess.

I think that the expiration period should be 1 month. If you have sufficient interest you can choose to keep the ad going. Never placed an ad, but suspect that advertisers are informed when somebody responds so there is already a mechanism to ask members if they want to keep the ad going after 1 month.
Ads in diferent sections is fine I think, just not multple ads in the same catagories. Not an expert, but suspect should be able to stop this by looking at the ip address of the advertiser.
Ads in wrong section seems to be the main problem. Would it be possible to run a keyword scan of the ad to determine whether the ad was in the correct place. This already seems complicated but might be possible with some thought. Alternatively perhaps include a confirmation page before the ad is submitted. E.G This is the section for women to seek single males. Are you sure that this is where you want to place your ad?
Whether mark wants to do anything about these suggestions is up to him. I think the site is already great so I am not bothered if none of these ideas are implemented.

do they absolutely have to show a photo to get any sort of response? Just wondered because I dont have a digital camera and am quite unlikely to get one because I wouldnt use it enough. The last two disposable cameras I bought still have exposures left, and I got them years ago!!

Hi all, new to the site. Been looking around and it seems well designed and thought. Good one Mark looks like you have most things covered, but since you ask here are my suggestions.
- Use the same membership for the photo ads as for the forum
- Make the date of when the ad was placed more prominant.
- Make it possible to view ads in various orders. ie location, date posted etc
Auto delete posts after a period of say 1 month, but allow people to delete ads sooner if they wish, either as an option when posting the ad or at a later date.
This is probably a load of work, but think its probably worth it
