i was asked names a couple of years ago and was told it was so they could share information with other clinics to monitor whether the people id slept with had also been checked out, in the event of any of my tests coming back positive.
unless theyre going to start knocking on peoples doors and saying "you slept with so and so recently and we feel you need to be tested..." what are they going to do with that information? what about that persons privacy? where is their name kept? how long for? who sees it? what happens with it? is their name crossed off most wanted list in a central office when they turn up? would i be able to check with them that someone who's name id given in had been in, tested and what theyre results were?? you know, just in case i didnt believe them or whatever?
i chose to maintain the privacy of my partners as the advisor couldnt answer my questions.

have you tried looking for what your after on sites specifically for bi/gay men?
this is a swinging site and although i do see that theres alot of bi male action on here, it would seem to make sense that you tried to find what youre looking for on a site for bi and gay males?
i do know of one called squirt, try that?
in edit: after looking at your profile it would seem that youre quite experieced and know where to find meets? so im not sure what youre asking now.... just carry on using the sources you already have? :?

i voted no, mainly because i wouldnt like to be judged on whether im "hot" enough to attend by someone that doesnt know me. or does know me for that matter!
"vetting" and "applicants" just doesnt make it sound like my kind of thing.
also the price is a bit steap but i understand youd be going for high end accomodation.
finally, im not sure about single females always going for free on stuff like this...im an adult, i can pay my own way

Where are other changes and updates mentioned? I've had a look round and can't see anywhere obvious.

im guessing that these cryptic quotes you keep adding by quoting your last post are intended to be your signature? you need to go to forum settings and do that, then it will appear at the bottom of every post you make.

I'm sorry your friends are upset. Admin are trying to sort out the issue - once sorted out all comments are for approval by the account holder.
In the meantime, quickies should be able to be deleted by the account holder or the person who left the message. If your friends cannot do this - please ask them to pm Admin and explain, I'm sure they will delete them asap.
The quickie messages isn't meant to be for verification purposes at all. I know some members have been quite indiscreet with them ... Grrrrrr :mad: and if someone did that on my profile I would certainly let them know what I think.

this is the first informative response that i have seen regarding peoples concerns about quickies, thank you anais.
i do wonder why it wasnt said earlier on on the main glitches thread or in the threads that were locked...it might have saved some animosity.

this was the important part for me though....
i just find it odd that afer all the hoo-ha over verification that has gone on for years...its just suddenly added to the site without any warning!

when its working properly, i just wont approve any quicki messages that get posted onmy profile, simple enough :thumbup:

It's a good point.
When it's working properly, any messages would have to be authorised by the recipient before they would show on your profile.
So any bad ones need not be shown. But receive any good ones, as you say, and it's a verification system by another name.
I think the "quickies" are a cock-up and should be unplugged. (lack of the right technical word here
)ahh so the immediate pblishing of quickie messages without approval is a glitch?? thats better....but tis still an avenue for verification.

i understand that i can delete them when that function is fixed...however....as they are published immediately rather than approved by the profile owner.....if i dont log in for a couple of days, an "undesirable" message may have been sat there for a couple of days without my knowledge?

i quite agree...if theyre here to stay then we should be able to choose which ones we show on our profile rather than have to check them to see what's been posted.

really though, this is an excellent site, ive been here long enough to know this, give it a bit more time :thumbup:
and extras really isnt all that - the only thing i use from it is that it makes the videos a bit bigger.....i can live without that and spend my 25 quid on some new lacies next year :P
