I have come for my bi-annual visit to the forum and I am often confused by some of the posts. There is a small argument that if an accident occurred yardi yardi ya.....
The cameras situated along busy routes are not used to identify drivers without road tax. They are for monitoring the flow and weight of traffic on busy routes. No traffic offences etc will be issued from the images recovered from the cameras, other wise the courts would be full of people caught smoking, not wearing a seat belt, eating and drinking. How many people who berated the initial post do any of the aforementioned moving traffic violations????? They are against the law because they distract you from your driving.
HGV drivers are proffessional drivers and they will naturally use "road craft" and very few will actually be looking at the road directly in front of them. They will be observing what is ahead, behind, and to the left and right. A brief look into a car at a nice pair of boobs is unlikely to be long enough to allow them to via off course especialy if the road is quiet as discribed. Further to this if you ask any driver if they perv at a nice pair of legs or cleavage in a passing car I'm sure that they would give you a big thumbs up.
Every day I see things that I don't want to or didn't ask to see. The fugly bird in a short skirt, gay sex on the tv and dog shit on the pavment. I just look away, turn over or walk around it. Life is full of decisions just make the one that suites you.
I'm not trying to say what they did was right, I just think that sometimes people are too quick to judge.
