Hi All,
On Monday, we will be moving the 4 chat servers, into 2.
From feedback from the last test on the new super servers, we realised that some people do prefer different servers, and some people prefer the single one.
From a technical point of view, and from a user point of view, it only made sense to meet this in the middle - which means 2 super high power servers.
Chat capacity will be around 6000 users, so there will be plenty of overhead and speed.
What we need is to name the servers, or 'chat areas'. There will be two entrance buttons on the main chatroom page, where you can choose to go in either one.
Some examples have been
Arthur and Camelot
Fire and Eath
etc etc
Please keep them neutral (not North and South, Man and Woman) etc etc.
Most liked suggestion will be used.
You have until Monday lunctime.
Thanks,
Elliot.
front-room and back-room.
dungeon and playroom
that is the best I can do at the moment.
How about:
General
This could be open to everyone. People can create rooms as currently allowed and can have specialised names as is the case at the moment, but rooms are open to anyone to enter. Current room etiquette applies.
Private
This area could be reserved for people to create private rooms, or rooms where they don't want people who aren't included in the room title to enter. For instance people could create a 'cpl4cpl only' room in this area, and could kick ALL single people out of the room, providing this was applied to both males AND females.
I don't know how easy it would be to police but it could be a way of making sense of the two servers.
swing / swong
bedroom / lounge
Dumb & Dumber. :lol2:
pure & tainted.
Clean & dirty.
Drunk & sober would be helpful :lol2:
Kim n Aggie
Pumbah & Timone
Terry n June (Bet they were swingers)

How about seeing as SH are taking a big bite of a apple trying this simply naming them Adam & Eve
Hanky and Panky?
Collar and Cuffs?
How about red and blue? - the original colours of Swinging Heaven, as still seen at the left-hand end of the URL box and on the pin-badges.
