Really shite room names

Sunday night I pop into chat with J for a nosy before she hoofs it to bed and lo and behold just under our local room on server 2 a room called breeding wives. Jesus bloody wept. Well J fu**ed off to bed just because the name of it pissed her off. OK OK i know that it aint illegal and so thats acceptable blah de blah. Acceptable to who? freaking weirdo's.
Maybe i'm wrong maybe the room is there just putting forward the side of pregnant swingers wives who still swing, not something too my taste admitted, hey that ain't a judgement call just it ain't for me. But do I think that's the case with this room name? Nah I don't think so.
Maybe there ought to be a league for the crappiest room names. Errrrmmmm maybe not that would just encourage it I guess. Whoever set that room up.... your frigging odd!

I appreciate your thoughts Lost, and we do get some strange names cropping up on occasion. Providing a room title and the behaviour of members in it is within the site rules we don't have any restrictions.
I realise what is acceptable to one person may not be to the next, but then we're on a swingers site and there are plenty of people out there who believe this in itself is unacceptable.
Personally the one thing source of disappointment for me is how rude and nasty some people can be to each other on here. Thankfully they are very much in the minority.

I can fully understand why the room names are allowed as long as they are within the rules, I guess thats the price we pay for that freedom, which is fair.
Mind you the fact that we are swingers on a sex site shouldn't compromise decency, and a room called Breeding wives surely does. The name is derogatory to women even more so than others of that ilk even. The suggestion of breeders being a farming issue more than anything else. Does my being a bloke affect how i perceive this? Well according to J's reaction i would say no.
On re-reading your reply to my post Varken I do hope that your last paragraph about people being rude and nasty to each other on here isn't pointed at me :-( I try not to be rude but i guess that me putting in weirdo's and odd in my post could be construed as such. If it is I apologise but sometimes I like to publicly declare my exasperation, which im glad to say this site mostly allows. I promise that i do try not to be rude and nasty in any of my doings.

I know you have a somewhat unique style, but I was thinking more about some of the dipsticks we get in the chatrooms (who are usually fuelled by more alchohol than you can shake a stick at).

Lostie, i felt the same - so I went in and had a chat in the room, to find out what it was all about.
All I will say is, it was most illuminating, and I left feeling a lot more peaceful than when I arrived.

There`s loads of stuff on here that turns my stomach on a personal level but as long as it`s within the law I think that we have all gone beyond most peoples idea of "common decency" just by being on a swingers site ....
So lighten up , if ya don`t like the room name...don`t go in ...

So how does one make their feelings known then? Is it a case of Put up and shut up? Yeah like thats gonna happen.
I didn't mean to go in it weas a case of it was next to my local room and i slipped in by chance.
As for decency. I don't think thats incompatible with swinging as a rule. Maybe some parts of it are but then you could say the same regarding fundamentalist religion or any fringe activity. For me the treating of women as such by calling them breeders is just not right.

ive asked folk in the past what a room was about..the 'impregnate my wife room' aint bothered about the title aint bothered about what they get up to in there but curiosity got the better of me so i asked..room fell silent ..

I do sympathize Lost but I'm inclined to agree with this point of view. It's a more complicated issue than it first appears, but if enough people refuse to enter such a room it ceases to exist and democracy wins.
However I think it's good that you've raised the issue because every now and again I see room titles that concern me, and if I'm certain they go over the boundaries then I report it to the Mods.
What do we do with the others though that are clearly offensive but are within the rules? And are legal? Well I think that, just maybe, raising them in this kind of thread can help to clarify what we, on this site, think is acceptable.
So well done for raising the issue.

Its not a requirement that you do.
I was stating why and what I thought about the roomname and how it conveyed to me something distasteful thats all.
I hear others talk about freedom of expression and horses for courses thats cool but I as yet haven't seen a topic extolling the virtues of such a practice.

I Had visons of ppl making oragami like things with their flaps lol
