Page 3 Girls - Why no Indian,Asian,Black ?

Its been a question for as long as I can remember as to why there are few - if any - Indian,Asian,black etc ladies on page 3, or for that matter in any of the lad's mags or top shelf adult magazines.
This is a sex site - so lets get the debate going !
I think it is because they actually only go for a very specific type of girl anyway - namely the "techno-babe" look with dyed blonde hair, silicone tits etc and simply can't/won't go outside this formulaic approach.
I reckon they should have more of these lovely ladies - what do the other forumites think about this issue ?

There are plenty of black girls around who do porn. Yes I can only remember a few black girls doing page three, but there are lots in " mens wank mag fodder ". That sounds a very feminist comment if I ever heard one.
There are not many black guys who do this either, but if you search you will find them.
I do not know the answer as to why their are fewer black girls than white girls to be honest, then again who does? Maybe it is because there are far more white models than black ones, and it really is as simple as that.

As to the op's question...not sure. Unless it's down to demand, which I doubt, then perhaps it's cultural. However, I think you'll only get conjecture unless you ask the question within the communities you're asking about.

kent the op suggested that people of diferent enthnicity didnt "do" Page 3 not porn/not hard core websites etc, the humorous comment was directed at the suggestion of page 3 girls and why they are so stereotypically caucasion.

You've got things the wrong way round Rogue Trader - it is'nt that Indian,black etc women don't "do" wank mags as you call them - it's that they don't do/employ them !
"Wank mags" - I'm not into page 3 etc personally - but is'nt this a case of "erotica is what I read, Pornography is whatYou read" ?

So are you saying the magazine editors go out of their way not to employ girls from different ethnic backgrounds?
Maybe its because the demographic those publications are aimed at don't require the participation/employment by Indian/Asian/black models for gaining sales.

I suspect the darkest skin tones can be a real bitch to light properly. Imagine what a flash can do to a normally attractive person, then imagine how much worse it can get if they're topless. Breasts just don't deserve that kind of bad press.
In all seriousness, I doubt there's any 'active' racism at work; but it does make me wonder... if all ethnic groups were equal, would the same amount of each take their tops off? Probably not. Different cultures, upbringing, points of view, and so on, and so forth. So my first instinct is not to read anything into it.

If there is such a thing as "page three" in African / Caribbean / Asian countries then no doubt there will be a lot more African / Caribbean / Asian models featured in them. Just a guess like, but it is most likely a regional thing. Some things are simply not worth reading too much into???

I do not think calling someone silly is rude at all.

nope, not really much difference. skin tone lies in a very, very small range in the colour spectrum.
Although i have only lit for tv/video, the worst case as far as lighting difference for light/dark skin is you sometimes have to fiddle round with accenting lights to help with seperating features from backgrounds etc in some cases.

It's very similar to the whole size debate. For instance who decided that size 6 was a good thing? It doesn't really matter since it now exists within it's own ecosytem, and as the juggernaut rumbles on it becomes more and more difficult to stop, despite what most of us really think.

As I posted in a thread I started some time ago I love the variety of features that makes various races look I for one would welcome the beauty of the asian or indian or african lady.
I was talking to an indian guy in the pub the other day about football and queried why there weren't more asianindian guys in the football leagues. He said it was a cultural issue and that their parents strongly discouraged them from thoughts of a career in such arenas.
I am sure the same cultural barrier would also play a part in the case of page 3 models.
