so, what are the things you would like to do before your 50 (if your over 50, try in the next 5 years)
ive got plenty of time left to:
1. visit asia (not picky where, somewhere not touristy and mcdonalised)
2. bungee jump

Slightly odd one:
* Take a holiday in Iraq
By that I mean go there as a tourist, do touristy things just as you would in any other country. Speak to the locals and not get shot or blown up.
I suppose what I am really saying it to have had all the recent events there mean something, and achieve something for the people of Iraq, not just for the west.
But yeh holiday in Iraq, hopefully I will do that well before I am fifty... appart from the WMD's there is lots of really interesting archeolgical remains and architecture out there, not to mention a rich culture.

hmmmm.....before I'm 50 I hope I will ....
1) be in a 60k per annum career (if not more
)
2) own my own home outright
3) have put my daughter through college and university
4) ridden through the Grand Canyon on horseback
5) have given up smoking
6) have seen Gorillas, Tigers and Elephants in their natural habitat and been close enough to feel their breath on my skin
good thing I've got a good 20 years to work on it then :shock:

2. finally stay in the US for more than a couple of months, to try and find out what makes them go all silly :shock:

4. Try and do another season in the alps, before my legs and liver are too badly damaged to consider doing it again :shock:
5.....possibily the one that I most want to do and always have, is to compete in the Paris Dakar on a bike........saw it at a young age on Eurosport and been dreaming about ever since

i suppose the most ambitious thing would be to meet every member from this site and just spend the time listening to all there stories and fantasies.

as for things to do before i'm 50, hmmm, survive would be top of the list, i think seeing my children grow to be responable adults (fat chance of that though)

Hmmm .. tough one because I am the worlds biggest wimp so dont think I would ever have the courage to bungy jump or white water rafting or anything scarey like that.
The main thing I ever wanted to do was grow up and get married and start a family.
I got married .. so just need a family.
I guess it would be nice to retire and not have to work - and to have our mortgage paid off.

Lancy-Nancy my TallBoy, non touristy and unMcDonalised places in Asian isn’t such a good idea for giant like you, you’ll only scare them away. As for Bungy Jumping, at least make sure the string is not too long…just joking

agreed on both points, although surely they have tall people in asia? or am i just a european freak now?
never been sure about bungee, ive seen the people whos heads touch the water.....id probably be washed away, or need a shorted bungee cord.
