A Southerner is for life........................

Following the success of the NW Munch it has become obvious that the North of the country seem to be having a lot more fun than our Southern Counterparts!!! :shock:
In order to rectify this I am introducing an Adopt A Southerner Scheme. The plan is that everyone that lives above Birmingham Adopts someone that lives South of Birmingham and looks after them. You can bring your Southerner along to Munches, parties or just take them home to meet the parents. We can feed them on Fish, Chips, Mushy Peas and Gravy and show them the delights of the local Pidgeon Fanciers Club.
To start the ball rolling I am going to adopt Dreamer Helen. I know, I can hear you saying it already, but I didn't get where I am tody by taking the easy option (oops, sorry Easy!!). It's a crap job but someone has to do it. Helen, consider yourself adopted!!! wink

Well the obvious choice for me would be Will - but he spends half his time above Birmingham and so is practically naturalised. Therefore I adopt Perfect Stranger. Actually, can I adopt more than one?

I've already adopted one Southerner, as Satin is originally from somewhere in Surrey :thrilled: .
However, as I'm generally a very helpful type of person and as I think the "Adopt a Southerner Scheme" sounds a very good one, I'm quite happy to adopt another one. I'm also able to do short term fostering for Southerners in Crisis. I would like to take on a "troubled case", one who is in great need. Any Southerner who needs my help, please contact me ASAP and I will love and nurture you back to full swinging health

FOR ADOPTION:
Pair 1958 southern adults. High mileage but in fair condition.
both have been fully house trained and have good manners.
Body work has suffered some abuses over the years and
both contain a certain amount of dinks and creases.
Both of good character with outgoing personallities.
Easily maintained and easily pleased, with undemanding
live and let live characters.

Wanted:
1 female southerner.
Must be between the ages of 20 and 35, slim, good looking, bi-sexual and have own large bank balance.
Luck winner will get to see all the sights of sunny Munch-chester and a fish and chip supper (mushy peas and gravy optional). The winner will also recieve an invitation (assuming I recieve one evil

Could't agree with you more jemlet but the truth of the matter is we are outnumbered, the buggers have us surrounded, however we should see this as an oppurtunity to visit foreign lands that border the great north road who knows we may enjoy things like trees and fields, in time we may even master the language, get to enjoy strange foods such as muscles and peas (at least thats what I think the sarge said)
We should open our minds and embrace this guantlet of hospitality that has been offered from lands afar. I for one will look forward to partaking in this daring experiament. I look forward to my adoption papers being served and then seeking passage that will take me on a journey into the unknown.
