Yesterday I went to work with SirLee, at the end of the day as he was helping load machinery onto a wagon with his workmates a large heavy chunk of steel fell off the top.
He managed to deflect it before it landed on his head, which chances are would have been fatal.
Luckily it was only his arm that was damaged.
It has cut through into the muscle, at the moment we dont know if there is any muscle damage and fortunately the bone is only chipped not broken.
The injury is rather gruesome and we spent yesterday evening in A&E where he's had to wound sewn up from inside out.
He's going to be off work at least 2 weeks with the probability of Physio to contend with.
I just wanted to say, I'm glad your still here hunny, I realise I could have lost my husband yesterday, and I do love you.
kaz xx
Just an update to let you all know what happened at the hospital today:
The stitches came out-SirLee wanted anesthetic first. just in case it hurt until the nurse promised to hold his hand The things men will say to have a sexy woman hold on to them
They think it will take at least a couple of months for him to get the strength back in the arm. He's to take at least another week off work, then try and gradually build the strength back up, DO NOTHING to put any strain on the muscle until its fully healed and to do light duties until it is. ffs how on earth do you do light duties in his job
He's chomping at the bit now and bored rigid, so all those offers of nursing duties and bj's etc would be greatly received if only to get him out of my hair for a bit
Thanks for everyones concern on here and by PM we've really appreciated it. :)
