If you have just registered I'd like to say...
Hello and welcome to SH!
This is purely to save me typing my usual welcome message - lazy I know, but I had a look at the memberlist and, goodness, aren't there a lot of you?
It must feel a little strange at first, like walking into a club full of regulars. It's easy to become a regular though; post on threads and remember humour, politeness and respect - easy as that!
You may find, in the light of recent events, that some of us are a little wary of new members. However, if you get to know us, and let us get to know you, you'll be a member of the SH family in no time at all. Any problems or issues, contact one of our glorious Moderators although any of the regulars will be pleased to hand out advice and opinions on request!

Gotta back all that Sappho said as I have only been on here two weeks & have been made to feel like one of the regulars already & thoroughly enjoy all my time spent on here with these wonderful people who a couple of them I truly regard as friends now.

I live in the North West and there does seem to be a lot going on around here so I might be tempted at some point :silly:

Andy.... welocme.... the NW is well populated /represented on this list.... sit down and enjoy, and hopefully as and when a NW much II occurs then we may well meet.... watch the threads and eventually jump in and get thoroughly wet, and worry not about cocking up.... s most have done it some, more than most, he says looking at his feet and shaking his head...

Yes, this is a first post, but been "lurking" for several weeks, if not more. A genuine couple, that maybe one day will take the plunge, and put thoughts into action, so to speak. we are so sorry about all of the tabloid crap, that has been taking place, but like most things give it a few weeks and it will slow down.
We can tell who the regulars are, and how much effort is put into keep the SH community alive, and, hey who knows, may be one day, just one day we will have the courage to join in the whole scene.
