That’s handy having a banister; I may need to hold that. 0%

When you are in a strange building and come across an open stairway with a long smooth banister…. What goes through your mind?
Think about this honestly. Answer what is true to yourself - but then think about what it means.
To me, smooth banisters are one of the seven wonders of the world; closely followed by shopping trolleys.

For those of you who think such an act is foolish, pointless, ridiculous to even consider and would never ever dream of doing such a thing - you are truely poor my friends.
For those of you who wished you could do something totally childish and not care - there is no spoon!
For those of you who know how to lose that adult hinibition from time to time - enjoy your wealth and richness in life
It's got to be...should I or shouldn't I
Come out, come out, whoever you are - who else picked the last option?????
I'd be sliding up and down warming a sticky dessert wink

It's all in the momentum Miss Vigorous
The first thing that goes throudh my head when i see a bannister is, is it the right height?
There is a very disturbing trend with moder building to put bannister too high for a woman of 5'4" to straddle.
It is about time someone introduced new building regulations to stop this modern practise

A few years ago I worked in a company that had a huge, smooth, sweeping, wooden curved banister in the main enterance lobby. About once a week I would treat myself and go the whole length - full-straddle biggrin
One day a couple of the guys from maintainance came along and put hard brass knobs every 5 foot down the length of it. mad
It just goes to show that sometimes a row of hard knobs is not what a girl wants to make her happy!
definately leaning over or full straddle wink

Wouldnt mind trying a row of hard knobs , though!!
I once had a job (years ago) in an office which was in a large victorian building, loads of bannisters all at the right height. I often got left alone in the builiding and boy did i enjoy trying them all out - hated the job mind!!!

Oh I am sorry. Poor you.
I did not vote because, none of the above has any reference to what happened when I was very much younger.

I know that's what it says on the poll but is it 'Full Straddled' or 'Full Straddle'? I just want to get this picture clear in me mind  .

closely followed by shopping trolleys.

When you discover a store where the shopping trolleys have a place to stand on - whooayyy. I always get into trouble for using them as a scooter and giving the wife a salute as I pass or something daft.
I've never cared for the idea of sliding down a banister, too protective of my nuts.

Until I read this...I would have had a quick check for anti slide devices...then wooo hooo.
But now..... I would gently lay my warm tongue against the bannister... and wait for the swoosh of Libra Love gliding towards me
Depends how much vodka i'd had but i'd say fully straddled every time biggrin
How else can one enjoy a bannister? hmmm just had a thought about knickerless sliding.........
Funny you should ask... while we were out in town today we found ourselves in 'quiet' stairwell and before I knew it the mobile phone was out and he was taking naughty pics (as I mentioned on a previous thread, I don't do knickers and skirts :P ) on the stairs, and before you know it I was getting intimate with the nice shiny bannister!!
Definatly fully straddled biggrin Shopping trollys ok but the falt bed trolleys are much better you can ride them like a giant skateboard
Given the number of women wanting to go down fully straddled I hereby volunteer to be the knob at the bottom! wink
Roger the Dragon cool

this is true - very true. A lump free dismount is part of the attraction.
