can you over do safe sex

I was just wondering people opinion on this
Right i know people say safe sex if a must and ok its fair comment if u value your health but can u over do it? i was just reading a thread in the lets meet up forum and after reading the first message had a look at the couples add, now on their add it says safe sex is a must condoms, dental dams and gloves must be warn b4 any contact, or words to that effect
My question is can u over do it with safe sex?
If u felt the need to wear gloves b4 u touched anyone would u still carry on swinging and indeed if u met a couple and they covered u with a dental dam and put gloves on b4 they touched u would u not feel insutled?
I know its each to their own etc but i was just wondering how far people do actually go to protect themselves and is this normal and its just me thats not upto date confused

Well I suppose I have to say "each to their own" -- if some people feel they need to be untra cautious that's up to them. Personally though I would wonder about people who feel they have to put on rubber gloves before playing. Maybe they have a fetish for them wink

, but I would wonder if they have something contagious that they don't want me to catch :shock: .
I've never ever seen anyone using dental dams in clubs, though occassionally I have seen people using condoms for BJs.

Personally I think you can overdo safe sex - I saw the same post and had much the same reaction to it.
It basically boils down to relative degrees of risk, and what you consider 'safe enough'. There's a whole swathe of very dangerous diseases that you might pick up walking past somebody in the street, but there aren't many people prepared to walk around in rubber suits carrying their own air supply.

Wearing gloves is just silly, I agree. I personally wouldn't have sex without a condom if I didn't know the person's history. In a longterm relationship I wouldn't be happy wearing one though, as you say it takes away the contact (especially for the guy) and makes the whole thing almost mechanical.

If the 'victim' is incapable of moving, what happens if they change their mind? What if they need to pee before the 'pleasurers' have finished? What if they don't like what a person is doing to them?
