Once again can I ask you lot to help us out in these trying times??
I was meant to be working from home today, preparing work etc, but got caught up in a very weird situation with a new (and rude) member - it took the combined magic wands of two mods and the Black Dalek before the invader was sucessfully fought off - but we can't be everywhere all day. If you see something which isn't right or shouldn't be there then PLEASE PM any of the mods or the might Black Dalek himself so it can be swiftly dealt with.
We want to keep this place safe and secure and free (but not easy!!!). Keep communications open and tell us all about it.

You all have my thanks. I didn't realise so much was happening although I gave up last night - obviously something was going on.
The sad thing is that up until the point where Stan said he was really ashamed he was giving a fair and attractive account of dogging. How can they be so antaganistic towards stuff like "Just say no thank you and you won't be bothered."
There is so much f***ing hypocracy. Everywhere. I bet most people reading about Stan were thinking 'Ooh I've always fancied a bit of public sex'. But not just in sexual mores - the media attacks "fatties" while flogging half-price burgers, journalists have a go at sportsmen on steroids and then call their dealers for more cocaine. And on everybody's doorstep, companies brag about their social conscience while laying off workers in their hundreds. Is honesty so very very difficult?

Who says that Stan actually said these things?
He could have been quoted out of context or had his words "massaged" by the editorial staff to make them more sensational under the guise of making his quote/s fit the page or more coherent or Sun-reader level.
Reporters do have to paraphrase peoples comments, or the newspapers would be half filled with such facinating copy as: "I said, er, um, well, actually he said to me, um, I can't remember exactly, er, but anyway, you know, er".
I am hiding until Fred feels better. I am not very good at running.
