in general do men let themselves down more than women in appearance

i feel men do and should look in the mirror what ever the age 0%
real men dont need to care how they look beer guts are expected over certain ages 0%

rolleyes i was down sand banks on sunday , and noticed many a fine lady, what ever the shape and size they were neatly shaven or trimed, head hair had seen a brush that day and they all looked like they took care of them selves.
however the guys -- come on, large beer guts slouchy walking styles, unkept hair in all areas.
okay im no oil painting or fit but i do the best i can in my appearence as i like my ladies to try too.
so surely you - ladies who are out looking must feel men let them selves down big time.

Just look at television ads... There's one for a loan company where there's a bloke, tall, slightly spreading round the midriff, could do with a step closer to the razor... His bird is one of those twiglets with the nicely done hair, make-up, tidy clothes...
Why are we the ones that have to make the effort when the guys seem to get away with the trophy beer gut, bed-hair (not attractive unless I make it that way), scruffy trainers, jeans that haven't seen the inside of a washing machine for a week and have no clue what an iron looks like...

biggrin I must be one of the small minority,i clean,cook and do all my own ironing.I try to do at least an hours exercise a day(even though losing faith as don't see results).
Its seems all i need now is a massive cock lol.

i agree, its a matter of each to their own, some men may feel that if a woman is over weight shes let herself go while others like BBWs, why should people shave just cause they swing? some men like a hairy minge lol and some women like hairy men for that matter, so long as people are clean and tidy u cant ask for anything else, i guess brushed hair isnt to much to ask for lol personal apearance is just a preference surly?
oh and while we're at it as for your poll arnt beer guts expected in women over a certain age too or are we just picking on over weight men? rolleyes

How the hell could you tell that from walking around - you got some kind of x-ray vision eyes? lol
I personally don't like to see men with massive "beer guts" not because of look wise but because of their health. A man carrying a massive amound of weight around his stomach and chest area is more prone to heart diseases, gout, back problems to name but a few.

This interests me :!: Now Stormy is 6ft so by the standards these days not drastically tall, but tall enough. He does'nt have an ounce of fat on his legs or bum and if he stands with his back to you you can see a waistline. However he carries excess weight on his chest tummy and face.
WHY???? why is it not evenly spread is it genes or is it maybe what he eats??
He hardly ever drinks so it definitely is'nt a beer belly.
You're right Jaymar it worries me because of health reasons too. I don't know what I would do without Stormy :cry:

We have met some lovely couples... the ladies are lovely mostly with the odd blip.. Photo's borrowed stolen or obviously from a past era lol.. but some of the guys.. Holy mother, why??
Its not that hard to do a little excercise is it take a little care over your clothes and your appearance in general.. I'm no God lol.. but I do care about the way I look and the way I present myself to others but most of all I stay looking as good as possible for my wife lol... She makes an effort for me.. even after 26 years lol. I owe her the same respect surely!
