I come into the forums quite a bit and often post here, while here i often look at the names that are in the forums.
I also use the chat rooms to.
This got me wondering!

I use both. And I love to see peeps from here in there and vice versa.
I tend to start in here then migrate to the chatrooms and then get distracted if I'm following a thread and lose track of the chat
Add a couple of MSN conversations and a decent prog on TV (Those Medieval ones on BBC 4 are fabulous at the mo) and I am in serious mulitask mode - mostly failing to do any of them effectively.

Oh and Whips... I used to have probs being booted out of chat until I started to use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer.

I chat more than I post ... you'll find me mostly in the BBW room (server 1) where I hang out with my own voluptuous ilk. I've already made some luvverly friends in there and will be going to the room meet in July - can't wait!
Sometimes I visit the BDSM room because they're the nicest bunch of people you could ever hope to meet ... not at all what you might expect.

I was a dyed in the wool forumite but end of last year i dipped into chat a little but found it chaotic and confusing,however in recent times I've got well into it, it expands and enhances SH so much and the conversations can be great fun and highly enlightening even and can be with anybody, for example had a lovely chat last night with a married bi lady who doesn't want to meet anything but other ladies so there was no prospect of anything swingy with her but our discussion was really interesting, it was so good to chat to her.
I have to say if it's to purely go in and say fancy a shag you miss a whole other dimension to it, a rather wonderful, very worthwhile part of the site to do with friendship and exchanging humour and ideas and support.

As I've mentioned before on this subject the 'community' of this Website seems to be either Froum OR Chatroom.
Now I know of peeps that inhabit both yet it seems that you are either one or the other.
I've attempted to use the Chatroom but its just far too fast also lot's of Men just using the 'right hand of doom' on the Webcam doesn't attract me.
In my mentioned attempts I have met many nice fellow members but this is when a room has low numbers so you can get to know them.
I feel that you get a 'full picture' of members via the Froum & the Previous Posts button within all Profiles.
Hope I don't start any 'beef' with this just I prefer the Froum.

ops: :oops: :oops: when the site first started out i never use dthe chat room, basically because i didnt now how to lol.
i came over here ( to swinging heaven) from chat so i was use dto chat rooms etc.
this was the first forum id ever used, so probally ballsed it up alot in the begining.
i now use the chat a fair bit, tend to only go into devon and cornwall room though or BDSM.
my routine is , log in, see if i have mail, go to the cafe read what intrests me, reply if i feel i have somethimg to contribute.
I then move onto the chat room if its slow in the forum.
If its slow in the chat i flit between the two.
sometimes i get sick of the chat room, a few people have unsociable attitudes and no manners and if im feeling low and just want to be around friends i dont want knob cheeses whispering me crap and telling me off for not jumping at the chance for cyber sex with them.
so i use both.
it kinda feels sereal when i see a reguler forumite who alive in real time chat lol

To be honest the general chat in the rooms I have been in is usually absolute juvenile rubbish. Mind numbingly boring in fact.
