thank you everyone for your kind words, it was very sudden and not expected which is good for my dad, the pieces will be picked up and life will go on and with friends like you lot its a good life to be in

Doesn't seem odd at all
Just make sure you don't stay away because you think it's what you should be doing blah blah blah.I know when I was in the initial stages of mourning, I was doing allsorts of stuff ....... blimey, flashbacks now of the day after finding out my cousin died, standing in the O2 shop practically screaming at some girl, admittedly she was a complete ass, but not sure she deserved someone in her face yelling
then bursting out in tears before leaving the shop. All for some rather petty problem. Then I was off to the next shop to do something else just as off the wall for my character :? Kind of embarrassed now, can't go into the O2 shop any more :uhoh:Me and my aunt used to talk and end up laughing about stuff we found ourselves doing (even moreso her) - cos if we didn't we would've gone mad!
Think it might be called shock or something
Anyway, I also found myself on here a lot. Not really with it, but I suppose I must've found comfort in the normality of the place (if you can call here normal!! :shock: ). I've pondered whether to post this, cos it's not comforting words. I just don't want you feeling odd cos of actions, and certainly don't want you backing off from here, and moreso your friends :kiss:
Time to lean on people Earthy, you've got many friends here and elsewhere that are more than willing to be leant on - use them :kiss:

It's 10 years to the day this week that my mother passed away so i know a little about what you're going through.
remain strong and try to focus on the happy times you shared.. it its these images that helped me get through it.
I very much believe that when you have these thoughts, it is the soul of the departed coming through to help you cope.
