I do like a good sleep but when I feel tired and have possible taken 'a cold drink', I can fall asleep just about anywhere. I nodded off at a Sting gig BUT it was outdoor (Hyde Park) and I was sat in the sun.
But by far my worst one was at a Cranberries gig at the NEC during the track Zombie which is my favourite of theres, I was gutted. It is also one of their loudest tracks! To be fair I had been up since 5 in the morning and had a couple (beers not 'had' a couple :-))
So where is the strangest place you've ever fallen asleep or what was the most inappropriate moment you've ever fallen asleep?
I didnt actually fall asleep but had to keep forcing myself to stay awake during jury service lol
I once fell asleep while a guy i was seeing was giving me oral sex
redface
Very nearly - whilst driving along the clifftop coast road between Marseilles and Nice.
I still can't remember parts of that journey. Been awake for nigh on 24 hours - foolhardy youth!
These days I pull off and have a snooze.

I suppose having a quick pull is one way to stay awake :-)

70mph down the M4  that was feckin scary but taught me a lesson. Thank god for the rumble strip. :scared:
A former friends dad was killed outright when the driver of the car he was in fell asleep at the wheel. I'm sure we've all been guilty of it though- however fleetingly/rarely.
I feel sorry for the poor barstewards otherwise known as lorry drivers forced into situations where they're driving knackered or they lose their jobs.

and lets not forget the poor much maligned van drivers who don't even have the slight protection of hours / tacho checks, i remember having to drive 18 hours a day continuously just to meet the demands of the firm i was working for. it's little wonder some of them drive like lunatics, the pressures of getting deliveries done on time can be enormous.
hello my little fluffball kiss wave
 bolt
I've never fallen asleep anywhere other than in a bed or on a settee. I'm one of these strange creatures that cannot nap during the day and can only sleep in darkness, silence and a ventilated room.
If I'm poorly I may have a catnap during the day but it's not a proper deep sleep I'm aware of everything around me.
I can sleep in cars planes boats anywhere, W is just like mar, she hates me for it.
I never fall asleep anywhere other than beds or the settee either. I cant fall asleep in cars or on buses, trains etc.
Although lately I do get this sudden urge to fall asleep sometimes mid afternoon due to my illness but im normally at home or with friends/mum so a little nap does me a wonder of good.

Fluffball?
Yup- I'm with you on that (Might have known you've been a white van man rolleyes)
If tachos did what they should, it would be great. However, the unscrupulous firms out there have a 1001 ways to cheat them. If the drivers protest, they get given the heave ho on some made up crappy reason. Other firms will be loathe to employ them, and if they try to sign on they'll be told they got themselves the sack. Catch 22.
Cheer up a Trucker today! lol
I always used to fall asleep on the journey home from work om the bus from Liverpool to Widnes, and always woke up 2 stops before I had to get off....never missed my stop once!!
Once I fell asleep in the cinema watching the gory thriller Se7en with Brad Pitt I think it was....fell asleep two thirds of the way in, and woke up in the closing seconds of the film....hadn't a clue what had happened to who or what....
come to think of it, I have never watched it again to fill in the blanks lol

Fell asleep in the post office while waiting for my friend who'd queued up (i was sat in a chair). Also once in a theatre confused. A dear friend treated me to a show, and i was just soooo very tired from working.
i awoke on a train at the end of it's journey in Rugby, on christmas eve... though I only remember boarding the train at euston, bound for Northampton in the late summer... I was known to indulge in a drop or two in those days though

lol noooooooo sharp digs in the ribs from Stileto & my sister who were either side of me redface
I feel asleep at the cinema watching Star Wars: Phantom menace. It was 2am and I had been out to nightclub before hand, but I think I would have fallen asleep whatever time of day it was.
I also fell asleep during a performance of Hamlet which was a real shame as it was a really good one. I'd not had much sleep for a few nights before and the comfy seat and voices lulled me to sleep. My other half resorted to tickling me to keep me awake which worked quite nicely.

I can fall asleep anywhere at any time. My family know me as the dormouse due to my ability to sleep :lol2: I've been known to fall asleep in all kinds of places, including a nightclub right underneath the main speaker lol
If I'm a bit bored and not got anything to do for an hour or so I'll just go to sleep until it's time for me to do something. I did do something a little embarrassing the other night but I don't think I'll admit it on here redface
