I do like a good sleep but when I feel tired and have possible taken 'a cold drink', I can fall asleep just about anywhere. I nodded off at a Sting gig BUT it was outdoor (Hyde Park) and I was sat in the sun.
But by far my worst one was at a Cranberries gig at the NEC during the track Zombie which is my favourite of theres, I was gutted. It is also one of their loudest tracks! To be fair I had been up since 5 in the morning and had a couple (beers not 'had' a couple :-))
So where is the strangest place you've ever fallen asleep or what was the most inappropriate moment you've ever fallen asleep?
I didnt actually fall asleep but had to keep forcing myself to stay awake during jury service lol
Very nearly - whilst driving along the clifftop coast road between Marseilles and Nice.
I still can't remember parts of that journey. Been awake for nigh on 24 hours - foolhardy youth!
These days I pull off and have a snooze.
.
70mph down the M4  that was feckin scary but taught me a lesson. Thank god for the rumble strip. :scared:
A former friends dad was killed outright when the driver of the car he was in fell asleep at the wheel. I'm sure we've all been guilty of it though- however fleetingly/rarely.
I feel sorry for the poor barstewards otherwise known as lorry drivers forced into situations where they're driving knackered or they lose their jobs.
I've never fallen asleep anywhere other than in a bed or on a settee. I'm one of these strange creatures that cannot nap during the day and can only sleep in darkness, silence and a ventilated room.
If I'm poorly I may have a catnap during the day but it's not a proper deep sleep I'm aware of everything around me.
I can sleep in cars planes boats anywhere, W is just like mar, she hates me for it.
i awoke on a train at the end of it's journey in Rugby, on christmas eve... though I only remember boarding the train at euston, bound for Northampton in the late summer... I was known to indulge in a drop or two in those days though
lp
in edit: though more than likely it was the wrong leaves/sun/weather/train* on the line
*delete as appropriate
don't tell me... rapidly heating feet awoke you...just in time?

I feel asleep at the cinema watching Star Wars: Phantom menace. It was 2am and I had been out to nightclub before hand, but I think I would have fallen asleep whatever time of day it was.
I also fell asleep during a performance of Hamlet which was a real shame as it was a really good one. I'd not had much sleep for a few nights before and the comfy seat and voices lulled me to sleep. My other half resorted to tickling me to keep me awake which worked quite nicely.
Fell asleep in kosovo, freezing cold and noise everywhere.
Fell asleep when my mum was talking to me once, got woken with a clip round the ear!(I was about 30 at the time!).
we are bikers and mrs "c" falls asleep on back of bike.
