went to see Halloween last night...it won't go down in history as a classic...but for a remake it was pretty good...
Just got back from seeing The Heartbreak Kid with Ben Stiller...made by the same people behind There's something about Mary...i recommend this film, very funny in deed!
well... Ive just caught the start of Night Watch, a russian horror on film 4.
looks really good, quite creative and original at first glance.... but being so old, and having to get up so early tomorrow I wont be sitting up to watch.
I will though keep my eyes open for a copy of it... on this short glimpse, I think i'd already recomend it to folk who like that sort of thing.
a bit spooky, a bit art-housey.... even the subtitles are given a bit of special treatment, as if considered during the making of the film...
 !

in edit: is this film for which the current *Day Watch* is the sequal???
saw The Kingdom as well this weekend...again another film i can recommend.
A friend of mine sent me this link, its a long download but stay with it...VERY thought provoking.
Has anyone seen Black Sheep?
It is a drama about two bothers, who disagree about how to run a modern New Zealand sheep farm. There may be some sexy scenes.
It is a love story about how an animal liberationists comes to terms with her love for a sheep farmer.
...but mostly it is an hilarious comedy about homicidal sheep.
those Kiwi's and Ausies certainly know how to make low-budget, high *gore-factor*, basic special effect films of a cult status.
