Yup that's the one.
Go on! You know you want to.
went to see Halloween last night...it won't go down in history as a classic...but for a remake it was pretty good...
Just got back from seeing The Heartbreak Kid with Ben Stiller...made by the same people behind There's something about Mary...i recommend this film, very funny in deed!

I saw a clip of this last night and it looked like it had my kind of giggle factor!! I just might go see it now.....thank you smile
well... Ive just caught the start of Night Watch, a russian horror on film 4.
looks really good, quite creative and original at first glance.... but being so old, and having to get up so early tomorrow I wont be sitting up to watch.
I will though keep my eyes open for a copy of it... on this short glimpse, I think i'd already recomend it to folk who like that sort of thing.
a bit spooky, a bit art-housey.... even the subtitles are given a bit of special treatment, as if considered during the making of the film...
 !
lp
in edit: is this film for which the current *Day Watch* is the sequal???

i won't give too much away...but there is a great moment in the film involving a jellyfish!
saw The Kingdom as well this weekend...again another film i can recommend.
A friend of mine sent me this link, its a long download but stay with it...VERY thought provoking.
Has anyone seen Black Sheep?
It is a drama about two bothers, who disagree about how to run a modern New Zealand sheep farm. There may be some sexy scenes.
It is a love story about how an animal liberationists comes to terms with her love for a sheep farmer.
...but mostly it is an hilarious comedy about homicidal sheep.
those Kiwi's and Ausies certainly know how to make low-budget, high *gore-factor*, basic special effect films of a cult status.
see:
Bad Taste
and
Braindead

will have to wait for the dvd release of that one...i want to see Rendition and the wife wants to see Stardust this weekend!

I saw Night Watch some time ago LPT and liked it, being Russian it has a dark and unforgiving edge, and is something new-ish in attitude. Day Watch is indeed a sequel, a third film is rumoured to be in production soon

yeah why not, as a treat, it's not often I go to the cinema, 1992 was the last time I belive. A *talkie* I was surprised that actors could speak, though felt a twinge for the poor pianist, saw him being forcably ejected from the building as the sound was actually on the film astounding! The poor fellow was jobless... awww
and popcorn... salt or sweet? I'm a little cheap, and will pop and take my own. Not usually acceptable practice in the Modern Picture Emporium I believe, so I will disguise it, cunningly threaded onto string and worn as rather risque necklace.
How does that sound?
Game?

Salt…has to be… the sweet stuff should be banned and purveyors of same shot for crimes against humanity.
You’ know, I genuinely can’t remember the last time I went to a cinema, or remember what I saw. This would be more remarkable I suppose if I could remember what I did last week…..but I have a memory like Winnie I’m afraid……come to think about it maybe I went to the cinema last week…who knows…..I’ll consult with my social secretary…..if I remember.
Oh, I did however see right through your cunning plan to get me to nibble at your neck during the performance. C+ must try harder!
