That's very true. In fact it can get to the point where no-one out of the four will make a move because it is difficult to gauge all three other people even though everybody has agreed that they want to.
In my experience it needs at least one of the four to be single minded and really concentrate on getting it started - then it probably will. Even then it can be risky.
One on one is so much easier.

Very interesting post, something i never really thought about before we started swinging, all the dynamics...you would think theres nothing to it -getting people to meet but infact its extremely difficult to co-ordinate a group of people (couples,singles etc) especially when they have busy and unpredictable lives!!
But i agree with the general gist of the thread, if people are serious about swinging they will make that little bit of extra effort or take all that into account.
Personally i don't see swinging as a quick fix but more a lifestyle to be experienced and enjoyed.... good things come to those who wait!!!
