Spiders are lovely - they kill flies and wasps and things. You should've picked each one and put them in a matchbox (anybody remember that?) so you could show ya friends and shock Aunty Mary.
 Sorry - you're not a liitle boy are you but I couldn't resist saying it just so I could fantasise about your goose bumps again!
Now don't tell me Steve Left you to do battle against they hairy legged buggers by yourself!!! What happened to the knight in shining armour image?? Remind him that there are spiders that hide behind sofas as well if he's still cowering away there!!!
I myself am not to put off by spiders... it's their webs that give me the heebee-jeebees!!!
Yuck!!!! however if it was a mean looking mother.. say with a flickknife or something then would probably shit meself!! hee hee hee!!!
And people still don't know why I didn't move to the 'States!
Now don't you regret ever sharing the spider tale with us!!!!
I think that the big hairy bastards are possibly easier to cope with cos they are that big they can be seen whereas they haiy little bastards house spiders we have over here get into the tiniest nooks etc and move fast as fuck!!!!
I daren't tell you that we supposedly consume I think it is 8 spiders a year in our sleep!!! Christ I wouldn't be able to sleep!!!
I am never goona sleep again after reading this thread .... well actually I got as far as Reese's post and skipped the rest.
I wake up screaming if I dream of them, freeze and panic when I see them and when the one fell on me whilst I was pregnant .... well I'm so surprised that my daughter wasn't born prematurely.
"shudders"

Just for you Kinky Lizard .......

You think thats bad, i disvovered that a spider had been living in the rubber sealent in my winow for the last few months. IN THE BLEEDING WINDOW!
Needless to say, i quickly blutaked up all the spaces i could find, but i've still got about a dozen bite marks heling up. Hate them, especially after hearing about the australian ones
Just because I know that you'd all really appreciate it, here is a huntsman spider, the type Reese mentioned! No need to thank me, I'm happy to help...
Can I take that as a firm offer CarrieAnn? I can make myself available tonight if it is! Otherwise will I be seeing you at the NW Munch???
