We've had a recent thread on sad songs.
Now let's liven things up a bit by considering the songs that make you laugh.
What songs get you rolling on the floor ( laughing, that is ) ? Or at least give you a good chuckle confused:
Among my personal favourites are :
Dixie Chicken by Little Feet
Delirium Tremens by Christy Moore
Stranger in Blue Suede Shoes by Kevin Ayers
The Woman from Wexford by The Dubliners
The Ole Tom Cat by Seamus Kennedy
The Acid Song by Loudon Wainwright III
Cosmik Debris by Frank Zappa
Perfectly Good Guitar by John Hiatt
Johnny Jump Up by Christy Moore and Jimmty Crowley
A few comedy sketches stand out from the others:
Football Violence by Billy Connolly
The Pope Live at the Vatican by Cheech & Chong
God Gets Stoned by Robin Williams
