Gotta say that I'm a take me as you find me kinda girl, if you don't like me for who I am then what's the point.
I couldn't pretend to like something just because my other half did.
In fact I take great delight in turning over the football when he comes over to see me cos I'm an evil cow !!!

Nope can't say as I have done something out of character to impress. I'm too stuck being me.
If I did something like that I'd either have to keep doing it or admit that I had done it. Either option doesn't make sense.
Having said that I am still of the opinion that that first fart shared is always difficult

Good one Tankinky!!! Will have to remember that one...
I can put up with most things except golf!
I'll support a partner in something I'm not fond of but that doesn't mean I have to live an breath it. Gives me time to follow things I like...
If its a telly programme I'm happy snuggling up while reading a book or relaxing.
Had a think about this and I don't think I've ever pretended to like something because my partner/other half has. I think having different views, different likes and dislikes makes the relationship healthier and more interesting.
Of course it is also useful to have similarities which creates a common platform for the relationship, whatever that might be, friend/partner/significant other etc., but I don't think it's necessary to be a clone of the other person, so keeping your own character traits and tastes is important.
