however i do find that subtlety doesnt make for a good beginning of a discussion. ofcourse once the cliches and preconceptions are out the way subtlety has its day. thats why my new topics will often start gung ho and get people's back up.

Do me a favour. If you are going to post loads of topics - learn to use punctuation and grammar. A few capitals at the beginning of sentences wouldn't go amiss, for instance.
And the concept of 'frustrating ease' is an oxymoron in this context.
