There was a thread some while back about the disgusting state of the bottoms of some handbags - from putting them down on toilet floors etc.
I reckon keyboards can be almost as bad (less vomit hopefully though).
I teach IT and we have training rooms with 9 machines in and in the past they have never had their keyboards cleaned. They get replaced every 4 years or so. We may have up to 5 different people using a keyboard each week.
The sheer number of skin cells and grease, dandruff flakes, bogey-crumbs (yuk yuk yuk) and bacteria that could accumulate over 4 weeks let alone 4 years boggles the mind.
We are supposed to be getting them cleaned regularly now but I still hate touching any keyboard but my own. It may not be sterile, but at least the germs are mine :D
So the question is - when was the last time you cleaned your keyboard?
Do you use your sleeve and only when you can't read the keys?
Do you use a 'proper' duster?
Do you get going with the antibacterial wipes?
Do you get the fluff out from under your keys?
(And have you just looked at your keyboard - gone yuuuuuk and nipped out for the wipes?) :giggle: :giggle:
