Oh, ditto to that Nola - we had that just recently and sometimes all the planning in the world doesn't make for as much fun as a surprise! wink
We won't ever do "spontaneous" stuff I don't think... Mrs R too fraidy cat for that... Maybe if it was with someone we knew and trusted we could do a last minute thing if the stars aligned correctly and things fell into place but at the moment it seems a long way off.
That said, there's lots to be said for planning. I think it helps foster the excitement of it all. I don't get excited by birthdays or Xmas nowadays, so it is nice to have something to look forward to.
I like anticipation. The older I get , the more important it seems to be to plan things that I can look forward to.
For me it depends on the circumstances and the people involved.
I love the build up and the sexual tension of of all the flirting and teasing, and anticipation. It creates a highly charged atmosphere while also allowing you to get to know the person better.
However it's also nice to have the option of a spontaneous meet, which can be very exciting too.

Yes, I know that feeling. I get the butterflys in my stomach too, and I often find that I can't sleep properly the night before a meet because I feel too giddy lol

My philosophy is that the day the butterflies go shall be the day I hang up my swinging boots!
