Hi guys, looks like I'm bucking the trend again. lol
I have to say I don't trim/shave down below. I have to say though that so far this has not been a problem in my swinging experiences wink . If any of the ladies I have played with have found it a major turn off they certainly haven't said.
Shaving is definately the more common choice but there are still quite a few unshaven folks out here. I don't think being unshaven will stop you from meeting people and having fun, I say this from personal experience.
There also still quite a few un-shaven ladies out there and this makes a pleasant change for the discerning gentleman.
On a slightly more serious note I would say to any people new to the swinging scene, do not assume that to be accepted or invited to play you need to be shaved. That has certainly not been my experience, have fun and only shave if it is what you want not to try and 'fit in'.
Roger.
I don't worry about making my cock look bigger... I am short, but with a reasonable-size cock. The shortness means my cock looks very big in proportion to the rest of my body.
Also, cutting off your arms, legs and head can make your cock look bigger, although there are some drawbacks.
We have covered this subject oodles of times here. Have a look at these:

well wen i added this thread i thought it would have lots of interesting answers.
i might just trim it and see what it looks like. dont wanna shave it all off because it will just look weird and i wouldnt feel comfortable with it. doesnt it itch and get annoying?
For a couple of day's you get a bit of an itch, if you wear tight fitting jocks. so remember where you are, doesn't look good rearranging things in middle of tesco's. an don't consider using a cheap aftershave either, feels nice at first then it's sheer hell on earth lol
i recommend aqueous cream. Or aqueous and calomine cream - it's cheap as chips, about 70p for a tub - cheaper than chips then ...

There's no way you'd catch me sucking hairy balls. If you don't want to shave, the least you can do is nice short back and sides! biggrin

Don't worry about posting a topic that has been done before, these days anything over a week old is probably on about page 20. lol It is just that certain people have been around so long they look like part of the furniture.
kiss   Love you really Judy.

I only just recently shaved, partly out of curiosity following a discussion here, only place I find it itching at all is either side of my groin along the 'crease' of my legs ... certainly looks neater so will prob keep it trimmed, completely shaved looks a little odd to me.

Flippin eck, Bunny! Do we agree on everything???
I think I've found my soul-mate .... :rose:
***end of hi-jack*** (sorry about that)
Shave!!! sounds to risky to me... i always use veet... whack it on and sit in the bathroom with my times while it does its job!!
biggrin
I am very sensitive about my pubes.... It's bad enough my cranial hair waving goodbye at an earely age without so much as a "by your leave", without self-destructing the little bit I have left elsewhere.
Since started shaving my balls and trimming above I would not have them any other way...theres nothing wrong with a little grooming
Shaved apricots are lovely so long as you keep up the maintenance. Guys - stubbly is not good!

But as I said, most women I know have simply said that they don't like the idea of a guy shaving because they don't see it as masculine.

Just wanted to drop in with a little support here, I think a trim's OK if tidy is your thing, but I wouldn't want to be shaved either. I do see it, rightly or wrongly, (probably wrongly), as a predominantly gay or porn movie thing and I think it detracts from masculinity, of which I don't have enough as it is.
Likewise, trim that minge by all means, but pubic hair is natural, grown up, and very nice.

Waxing ones balls in not reccomended either

Yep, made me wince at the thought. Ouuuuch....
I had a previous experience of trimming my pubes a little when I was at uni as a personal experiment, but I think a trim/shorten without going the whole way is worse as it itched like billy-oh for a couple of weeks.
Remembering this, I recently (after becoming interested in the scene) decided to shave my c&b's, which I was very happy with and it feels absolutely great - so liberating - so I would hope that anyone else feeling them would say the same. They maybe get a little more sweaty sometimes than with hair, but a small price to pay. Although I trimmed the pubes at the same time I stayed clear of taking too much off - it is a masculine thing, and the memories of soreness and itching put paid to anything more.
I used my shaver which has a trimmer attachment that was helpful in taking down the length, and by fluke I think I picked a time when the hairs were easier to do as I only made a couple of minor nicks which soon healed with little or no blood. Moisturiser is definitely needed though and really helps. I used some heavy duty Neutrogena. Has been fine since (it was about 3-4 weeks ago I think?), will have to redo them before the london munch this weekend though as it's grown back to a bit more than stubble.

burn??!! shuuur up you big girls blouse!!
I'm a typical times reader... opinion on everything and think i could run this country with my eyes closed. Seriously though, times, telegraph and the ft are only ones i read... my most hated is surprisingly the Daily Mail... i detest that above all tabloids. Its nothing more than a middle-class pandering hype rag.
As a reasonably regular shaver I haven't had much of a problem in the past (I always do as the missus tells me!!! wink )
However, last time I shaved I have come across a new problem for me... the dreaded red shaving rash... aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How do I make it go away before Friday??? I'm so gonna get laughed at for this.. redface surprisedops:
final thoughts on the whole beanbag issue.
i was actually instructed by my ex to get it done. there is nothing vain or "gay" about it. she just preferred it, and as i've since discovered, many women do too. we aim to please! :lol2:
and the itching stops after the first few times, for me at least. and the hair grows back slower and softer the more i do it. quick glide with a razor twice a week, unless i'm going out, all done and dusted. it looks bigger, which is always a bonus redface :lol2: and feels better for me, and seems it feels better for her too. i'd never go back, and i loved my pubic ringlets. thought they were quite pretty! rotflmao just trim the top down, take the rest off. and i stopped using veet cos it does bloody burn like hell.
devil in part, never had a shaving rash on me beanbags. wouldn't know about the top bit. that's a touch too extreme for me! :lol2:
neil x x x ;)
biggrin Blimey- I go to work for 10 hours and the forums 10 pages longer!! Ive shaved for about a year now, Luce liked it so much she does too. I dont have any probs anymore, was a bit rashy to begin with, but its fine now. However some of the tips sound useful-- tho Im not too sure about the macdonalds one-- ( Burger king ok??)
Veet always put me off because of that horible smell of burning hair... that and most of my hair is sooo thick I need more than one 'treatment'
I think trim the top nice and short and shave from where your penis joins your body down. That way you still look old enough to grow hair... but nobody has to deal with it.
I started trimming a few years ago, just cos I got fed up of always fighting through the bushes... its gradualy been getting shorter with time.... although I don't like shaving it all off... by the following morning I have stubble that hurts!!! better to keep it short and soft.
Only ever had one girl object to pubic hair removal... she thought it was ick and refused to touch me (and at the time that was a long term GF   )... everyone else has appreciated the effort, and obvious benifits.
Being trimmed makes me feel sexy... as does being completely smooth... makes it all look bigger and more interesting... plus I like women with short pubic hair... so you should realy do as you would like done... plus if she shaved and you didn't it would tickle!!!
Getting someone else to do it for you is always the best tho... then your partner gets the look they wanted (just don't let a girl touch your normal hair).
