Before I start I just want to say that I have always believed most woman to be reasonably intelligent. wink But why do they fall for the sales lines put out by cosmetic companies? Over the years I have pondered why they seem to be happy to pay through the nose for products that the main ingredient is aqua (that's water to you and me) Which is available from the taps in most homes. confused
It seems to have reached a new level of obsurbity with a product which is up to 50% oxygen. WTF :? :? Oxygen is in the air we breathe. It brushes against our skin al the time. So why get a cream that is largely water with added oxygen and rub it into your face?

I dunno Keeno - probably find the enthusiasm catching
The same reason we believe a guy, at the point of cumming, waving his dick in your face, saying the cum from his "9 inch" love rocket makes a fantastic moisuriser
The heat of the moment isn't really the time to question this little nugget of information, ask for scientific proof. In fact the nano second in between them saying they're cumming and it happening, isn't really long enough to even get the first word of the question out, let alone the whole sentence confused
It's only afterwards, when he's laying there, rhythmic sounds of him snoring, your face set like concrete, that you wonder how long you're supposed to leave the stuff on for dunno
So yep, I would say enthusiasm has a lot to answer for, if it was only possible to bottle that.....
Missy, I think that I love you. biggrin
splendid

Keeno
I have to agree with you here sweetie lol I refuse to pay through the nose for ridlculously priced products that are most likely produced for Boots, Superdrug etc as their own brands. I am a Simple girl (in that I use Simple products but the other opinion is open to interpretation wink !)
Having said that redface surprisedops: I ripped off (with vigour) a free sachet of anti wrinkle cream from a magazine yesterday thinking "ooh I'll try that and see....." :lol2:

rotflmao But it keeps us happy and gives us belief in everlasting youth, or is that just me??? :giggle:
Slightly off topic.. but not too far lol..
The same can be said for most things.. I personally know the chemist for Boots who makes up a whole array of shampoos and conditioners for many companies..
Now the thing is most are the very same just a different colour and a slightly different smell.. fancy packaging and clever marketing is the only difference.
Oh and about 3 quid a bottle lol...
The point is Cheap shampoo is the same as expensive!
Oh and its a myth to wash it twice...
Don't shoot the messenger lol...

My presumption is that it another application of oxygen in the form of ozone.
Normal oxygen we breath is a molecule made up of 2 oxygen atoms (O²). Ozone is a form of oxygen made up of 3 atoms (O³).
This third atom combines with other elements and contaminates leaving behind breathable oxygen (O²) and floating off the new compound. Effectively it is attaching itelf to dirt and impurities (solid and gaseous).
Same principle used in cleaning products such as OxyAction (in your washing) and I remember trialling an ozone based air purification system to remove stale odours from residential accommodation.
btw - ozone is a noxious gas!

What worries me is that you also see adverts for these powerful clothes/dish washing powders that get rid of all 'biologocal' stains by the 'power of oxygen'. If it can eat its way through burned on egg and dried in blood, what the hell is it going to do to the skin on your face?????????

Exactly! Thats why I stick to natural ingedients, plant extracts, natural oils etc only wink biggrin
Oxygen is highly flammable. If you apply something that is 50% oxygen to your face are you increasing the risk of your face catching fire?

And there was me blaming my age for all my wrinkles
On the subject of Oxygen, there was Oxygen soup in the old CCCP. It was oxygen bubbles which the patient ate like soup. The doctors said it was good.

do a good line in vulgar fractions as well: ⅓ ⅔ ⅛ ⅜ ⅝ ⅞
but that is a different story altogether!
Women who fork out for that Creme de la Mer stuff must be nuts.
