Dare I ask what sort of boots they are?
On a more serious note, stuffing them with crushed up newpaper and leaving them for a day or two can sometimes help. It works best if you do it several times and wear them in between.

New Rocks
Only one way to soften and stretch leather boots- my old man taught me with my first pair of parade boots - p*ss in 'em, leave them to soak over night rinst them out, stand in a bath of cold water for an hour, them stuff them with newspaper and let them dry our without any artificial heat
It works!

mmmmmmm we were taught that in the forces too
but a more 'unyucky' way is put them on stand in warm water for a while, walk around to the boot molds to the foot, then stand in cold water to set the leather. Take them off, put scrunched up newspaper in until the boot is solid with it, leave to dry naturally.
OR
go to a decent shoe shop and buy a pair of boot/shoe stretchers

if you had more time would probably have been able to get you them as my dads company sells/sold them.

this is the one you need but make sure you feed the leather saddle soap is great keeps the learter real soft smile

well, apparently if you stick a load of potato peelings in them, and leave them for 48 hours, they'll be all nice and soft just in time for the munch! i kid you not! googles quite informative on the potato peeling issue.
To stretch tight shoes, pack with potato peelings and leave for 48hrs.

Take fresh potato peelings and stuff them into the dyed shoes. Leave the shoes alone for a couple of days, and they should fit perfectly.

or you could get tricksy with a freezer bag . . .
To stretch shoes, slip a leak-proof plastic bag into the shoe, fill with water, ensuring it fills the shoe completely. Close securely and freeze. The water expands and stretches the shoe.

sounds like a load of old cobblers to me!
did ya get it? load of old cobblers? shoes? right . . . cobblers make shoes ok? oh . . . and boots as well? Oh FFS i give up! rolleyes
n x x x ;)
Just do what us women do all the time - wear them anyway and smile even though you're in incredible agony and then, when you can't take it any more and everyone's too drunk to notice, take them off and spend the rest of the evening in bare feet. Then, when YOU'RE really drunk, put them back on again and you won't notice the pain till the next morning! blink
The newspaper thing works too though biggrin
Fallen Angel? Were your feet black as sin after Marcusos party, too?
Re: Cost of said boots, and incredulity of spouse/partner - talk to Jas (or Timmy, depending on which side of the fence you're on)
well what a truly helpfull lot you are....... having read through idea's thus far i just just.....filled a bag full of potato peelings, pissed in it, stuffed it in me boots, but the whole thing in a bin liner, pissed in that and chucked it in the chest freezer.......will let ya know how it goes on saturday lol
Go to a shoe store and purchase a product called Leather Stretch . Put on some socks, spray the boots and insert your padded foot into them. Keep them there for about half an hour. You can repeat the process.
The only way it won't work is if the boot is reinforced with a plastic liner, or stitching right where you need it stretched.
Good luck.
