Help..... got me some new boots off the internet, they arrived today in plenty of time for the munch on saturday but alas... one is a tad on the tight across my I want all the old wives tales, rumours and scientific evidence for which is the best way to stretch and soften leather quickly............. over to you guys
well my vote goes for.....seeing as these boots cost 165 quid  yes you did read that right :!: take them back, get a refund and give me the dosh
Only one way to soften and stretch leather boots- my old man taught me with my first pair of parade boots - p*ss in 'em, leave them to soak over night rinst them out, stand in a bath of cold water for an hour, them stuff them with newspaper and let them dry our without any artificial heat
It works!
Fallen Angel? Were your feet black as sin after Marcusos party, too?
Re: Cost of said boots, and incredulity of spouse/partner - talk to Jas (or Timmy, depending on which side of the fence you're on)
well what a truly helpfull lot you are....... having read through idea's thus far i just just.....filled a bag full of potato peelings, pissed in it, stuffed it in me boots, but the whole thing in a bin liner, pissed in that and chucked it in the chest freezer.......will let ya know how it goes on saturday lol
Go to a shoe store and purchase a product called Leather Stretch . Put on some socks, spray the boots and insert your padded foot into them. Keep them there for about half an hour. You can repeat the process.
The only way it won't work is if the boot is reinforced with a plastic liner, or stitching right where you need it stretched.
Good luck.
