Thanks for getting back to me on this Mark - it's nice that you obviously care about the site working on other browsers, too many webmasters take the attitude that so long as it works on IE they don't have to worry about anyone else.
I'm using Mozillla 1.6 on Windows XP and I don't think I've changed the display settings much from standard. Bad colouring and formatting does like a stylesheet or DHTML issue though... Hmmm...
Okay, just did a CTRL+Reload and the new layout came up fine; guess I must've had the old stylesheet cached somewhere. False alarm, sorry about that.
Now I can see it, the new layout does look very snazzy, and it's cross-browser-compatible too so well done.

I know that many hours of hard work, effort and testing have gone into the new look site and I would just like to say I think it is absolutely fabulous, very snazzy, not too heavy in terms of Java and all that stuff and much faster than the old site so it is obvious Mark has taken a lot of time to optimise all the code.

I've been using it for a little while now as a beta.
I guess the best compliment I can pay is that when I ended up hitting a feature still being worked on and got directed back to the old site I was almost disappointed ! It really became hard to use the old site - even though that was no slouch itself !
It's the little touches like the alternate panel colours in a thread to make it easier to scan down a thread - the same with the quoted panels working very well against the background.
I wish I had a hat with me so that I could take it off to you ! :P
