I'm sorry to sound like an embittered old traditionalist, but I fail to see how such an "improvement" aids the, supposedly, primary focus of the site, which is purported to be swinging.
While photographs are an aid in deciding whom people want to play with, I would also assume that a great many swingers often read a profile or interact with folk in another way too, rather than just look for nice cocks / boobs and then rattle off a PM in the hope of a shag later that week. I would venture that many swingers methods of selecting their potential partners are a little more selective. I would also hazard that while many people may be great photographers, that may not make them necessarily great swingers, and vice versa.
Being cynical, you could just say that it is an easy way to bring in the single frustrated male / female membership masturbation money, by providing them with easy links to true amateur photographs of the finest wanking material that they require.
If that is the case, do we get a model fee?
I understand the system is not a ratings system perse, but given the reaction by most here to the wording used, it seems inevitable that this is how it will be interpreted by many and then used as such by a great many people on here, even in good faith. You put the word "rating" in any context next to photographs and the vast majority of people will ignore the words "quality".
I also feel the fact that to roll out such an improvement without warning, when it concerns the fragile sensibilities of members on a site such as this, was ill-informed. I understand that you don't have time to listen to every Tom, Dick or Harriet's thoughts on the issue, but it would have been a common courtesy at the very least to let people know it was coming, rather than roll it out and then firefight the reaction afterwards.
I'm all for improving the site for swingers. I fail to see how this makes swinging any easier. It makes life for those seeking a quick wank, whilst looking at things that turn them on, immeasurably easier. I'd never choose to swing with someone simply because of the quality of their pics or how easy they are to find, I don't think anyone else would either.
I'm afraid to me, it smacks of pandering to the larger market. In effect using the pictures of people on here as a free porn market for subscribing masturbatory folk. That's fair enough, but at least tell us that is what our pics will be used for.

There is another problem of course. If it is true that we are effectively being used to tag other people's photos, does this mean that the first person to see a particular pic is allowed to tag it? Or does each visitor to that particular pic have a chance to tag? Is it first come first served, or are the tags somehow assimilated into a single rationalised profile?
What happens if I tag someone as a BBW who doesn't see themselves as BBW? Or someone else is tagged as gay when they might be straight? How am I supposed to know whether a picture which contains two women are lesbian or not? Without knowing the context it is likely to cause hugh offense.

Time and time again I've argued the same point directed towards Admin ... informed consent! Tell people what you are planning, give them chance to mull through the ideas and then avoid the "shit hitting the fan" reaction that you incur each time you introduce something new!

I'm definitely pulling my pics and I won't be putting them back up in the galleries indefinitely!
We need the public help for the following reasons.
1. We have 500,000 to do if people did all their own and we could rely on them to do them we would not need any help. Fact is most will not bother so that would be a huge issue.
2. If we cant get them tagged we would need to delete them, now if a few of you are frustrated now imagine how that would make thousands of people feel?
3. Very often you get people trying to pass off as women etc or something they are not. Taking a maximum of ten tags on each picture or video will make sure this will be represented correctly. This is the most honest and accurate way to do it.
As already stated we want people to tag their own we are planning to ask for peoples help on their home pages in the next few days.
And another thing, I've just been looking at some of your labels/categories.
Define "sexy" and "erotic" and, indeed "BBW".
What I find sexy and erotic and the size of woman I would categorise as BBW (I hate that term by the way) may be waaaaaaaay different to what you would find any of those things.
So those categories - especially sexy and erotic - are just too damn subjective to be valid terms for searching on anyway.

Angel if its private it will not show publicly, but you will be able to see it and publicly post a link of it (like in the forum).
You can always see all your own pictures from your own account and the link is there for you to tag your own.
It cant be set to private, if you need help doing that let us know. If you just removed it from public it might take a little while to come out.
If you click the link back to the public gallery from the link you posted it is not there. I suspect you put it private and its been in the cache.

As long as they've had the option to rate their own pics then it's not your problem that they've chosen not to. That's their choice and that's too bad! :mrgreen:
Why is it still showing in the tagging gallery?? Check my profile if you don't believe me. You'll see that it says 12 pictures, but then when you try to view the pics, it tells you that I don't currently have any pictures.
