i've been thinking about this for a while now and recent circumstances have inspired me to write this. why do peeps get annoyed when they are not invited to every party that happens? i'm certainly not bigheaded enough to think that i will be invited to every party that is organised in the room i frequent and nor would i want to be. if it was the same peeps everytime, how would we ever get to know new people??
what do you think? does anyone really think they are THAT popular that they should be invited everywhere? Isn't it kind of nice to miss out once in a while and when we are invited, walk into a room of peeps we don't know yet?
THIS IS FOR ALL THE SAD BASTARDS THAT HAVE HAD A MOAN ABOUT NOT BEEN INVITED TO MY PARTY LAST WEEK.
YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, I AIN'T GONNA NAME AND SHAME.
THE PEOPLE I INVITED I CLASSED AS CLOSE FRIENDS, IF YOU WASN'T HERE YOU OBVIOUSLY AIN'T CLOSE ENOUGH TO ME.
YES IT WAS A WICKED NIGHT AND WE ALL ENJOYED, SO STOP YOUR BITCHIN AND MOANIN, GET OVER IT. !!!!!!!!!
IF YOU DO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT, SAY IT TOO MY FACE.
END OF RANT.
because pene there are some sad people about, they need too get a life. end of xxxxxxxxx
if i get an invite then thats good.. but if i don't, then i'm not going to lose sleep over it.
and the same goes for if i wanted to organise a private party.. i would like to thing i could invite the people i WANT to be there. not invite people just becuase i feel i have to.
No idea how they feel. As being so popular we are always invited.............................
............... not lol
Dave_Notts
PS....don't give a monkeys if we are or not.
quite right pen, but as we know some ppl make a big deal out of it, we have socials all the time at our home, and try to invite new ppl each time, we only have so much space, so we have to limit the numbers, but we still get the.."were was my invite" issue.
No one should think they SHOULD be invited, just because you are friends, but in saying that, are they friends at all??? rolleyes
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
surely that's the thing with a party, the host/ess can invite whoever they wish to?
dunno I stopped being bothered about parties I wasn't invited to when I was about 7 years old.... cool
Most of these private parties occur in peoples own homes it takes alot to invite near complete strangers into your own home, i know ive done it. if you get an invite great if not thats great to. Nothing to be petty about rolleyes but people being people will always find something to maon about there will always be one spitting dummies out.
We agree wern't invited but saw a bloke running down the road in womens clothes so decided to check it out. turned out to be a great night.
Thanks voddie and Naughty xxxxxx

Do you know what nola I think you hit the nail on the head.
In saying that there has been the odd issue in the local chat room I use about people thinking they are missing out on stuff thats going on that ain't even or has not gone on. This drives me nuts because instead of asking and finding out they sometimes sit and let it get to them.
This sort of thing just leads to bad feeling which is such a shame
it is very difficult when organising a party or get together ..... your house is only so big....you can only invite so many people. I know I tend to invite people I think localish and therefore more likely to attend. You will always upset and offend someone....its the way it is. Worst thing is, by people moaning and graoning about it, makes people wary of having further get togethers.
Get tents
no seriously :lol2:
ask anyone who's been to a "wilts" party. I never restrict "who can come" by issuing invites, all i do say is, small house, large garden, bring a tent dunno
Sitting and watching the antics of folk setting up can be bloody hilarious, ask PK rotflmao wink and produce some unforgetable moments.
and just having the photos of your garden being turned into a mini Glasto will keep you giggling for years to come :giggle:
As for NOT being invited to a party that has been advertised, mentioned in a social media ..... hmmmm you just reminded me why I don't do chatrooms rolleyes
Party On drinkies

If you have a hundred friends and a house that can only hold thirty, someone is bound to be disappointed !! Its not something to get heated about if you don't get invited - you just learn to live with it and hope there will be an invite another time. If you really wanted to you could make an entire career out of moaning about the parties you weren't invited to, but hey get a life -- this one's too short to waste on grumbling !!
Unfortunately Pene, some people really DO think they are that popular. There are some who think they are the main ones and everyone should be in awe of them, it doesn't work like that for me, I actually find it quite amusing.
We're not really that bothered if we get invites or not to parties. If it's a public 'meet up' one, and we fancy it we'll put our names down.
We lead such busy lives anyway and have various sets of friends mainly vanilla, so the socials we attend are very spaced out.
lol

redface I think I was both on Saturday!... extreme lack of food + extreme tiredness = twitter and distortion of the mouth
Its a bit childish to get the hump cos u weren't invited to a party, however sometimes its just banter and people don't mean it as a moan...... do they?
Bit sad if they do !

here here
we also hold socials at home and know others who have had there home wrecked by unthinking people. I look after my home and will not invite people unless i know they will respect my home my friends and myself.
There are also so many people we wish to invite we cannot invite them all every time. We jst havent got the room.
Every social the Dares and we hold costs us, not a lot but the snacks and any drinks we provide does add up.
the idea of our socials is to reduce the "clickyness" everyone complains about in the mids room, we do our bit for the room by inviting new people to come meet others in a non threatening atmosphere and hope that the complaints of clickiness subside. But we are not the only ones that have homes to invite peeps round come on lets share the love and a few more peeps open up there homes too.

oi voddie i'm sure we met once about 3 years ago. I should have been top of your list. Where was my invite??? lol
Personally I prefer to know a handful of people that might be going to a party or at least know the host fairly well so I can feel relaxed and really get into the spirit of things. I'm alway surprised when I recieve an invite and have only recently started to accept the invites as my lifestyle has changed for the better slightly. I reckon nothing should be taken for granted and appreciate the invites you get.
Life is too short for getting upset over something so small.
yes i think we did venus, with a certain rosie, wat a nite , lol.
you was top of my list but lost contact, woops , hope your well babe. xxxxx voddie xxxx
As a single male I don’t expect to get party invites. What I find strange is the party host's need to broadcast their party on cam to everyone else. If you as the host have all your so called ‘real close friends’ at your home then why not enjoy their company and turn off the cams, why the need to broadcasting to people who are not your friends and have no interest in who is at your party. All you get is perves who sit in anticipation of some action watching a bunch of strangers in a room
Or is the cam on to show all others how popular you are and how many mates you have. Having a party is one thing. Having a party and rubbing it in others faces on cam is another and its that that makes those who didn't get the invite question your so called friendship.
Keep the private party private and no one gets upset
