Seconded... Ive used both those oils and they are great! Especially good for any tenderness of the breasts you may get too!
Also helpful is a nail gun, cheese grater and one victim (any man that volunteers confused ), good as a stress buster. Gets rid of all that pent up engery and rage :lol2: :lol2:

ooooooooohhhhh anais, thanks for the tip, I must try that....and soon :twisted: look out Mr Bonedigger
Thanks ladies, I'm making a shopping list as I type...including the cheese grater! I had to turn my phone off last night otherwise a certain yummy man would have had me shouting down the phone at him...god help him if I'd have been there in person (well there's always next month after I've got the shopping in) :twisted:
Mrs B, are the AD's specific to super-PMT? The way I'm going I might need them...
Evening primrose oil thirded.
It was prescribed for me by my GP and worked wonders on everything - headache, mood, even with the extra-pneumatic knockers. When I stopped taking it after 18 months or so the symptoms had disappeared and never came back.
Good luck sorting it out xxx.
not specific to super PMT, but certainly helped me avoid prison rotflmao
I really do feel for you Horny, and I agree with the others that the cheese grater is very useful at aleviating (sp) the symptoms wink
I found that changing my diet, to include lots more veg and fruit and drinking gallons of water a day really did help (but you spend half the day on the toilet). I also had a total abdominal hysterectomy 8 weeks ago and thought the PMT would go, but they left my ovaries behind so Im still having some of the symptoms (sore boobs etc) so it is back to the healthy diet and cheese grater (may also try the evening primrose, as Ive heard that can be very helpful).
The only other side effect Ive had from the hysto, is ladies - lock up your men cause here I come redface
sales of cheese graters are gonna sky rocket lol
Mrs NWC, hope you are making a full and speedy recovery (yet at the same time milking it for all its worth :twisted:
looking forward to 'munching' with ya too :lol:

I am absolutely fine and have been from a few days after the Op (only in hospital 3 days, and then felt ok).
It is the best thing I have ever done, and apart from the raging (sex-mad) hormones :twisted: I wish I had done it sooner (I just wish the doctor would sign me of the sick so I can go back to work).
vitamin B6 100mg a day for the first three months.
then take it for a week before and all during.
marriages and relationships have been saved because of this. wink

:thumbup: My Mum swore by Vit B6 and it does work. I eventually got rid of mine by getting rid of periods altogether. I had an Endometrial Ablation. Its an alternative to more drastic procedures and all thats taken away is the lining of the womb. Periods gone and PMT gone too....sorted lol

That's sounds drastic itself! Can you still have kids if you have one? I've not got any yet and don't want to totally rule out the idea yet. I recently saw a gynaecologist and took a 6 month diary to show what was happening with moods/anger etc (someone recommended I do this, I was due to see gynae for something else). The response? She told me that all women get depressed and angry around their periods - I wish she'd said it on a day like yesterday then she'd have found 'most' women don't react THAT badly, bitch!!! mad
NWC, I know a man who can be off service during my 'fuck-off-don't-come-near-me-if-you-value-your-cock' time, she smiles sweetly. :lol:

rotflmao :rotflmao:
Send him round, I can always practice my cheese grating if he doesnt fancy anything else innocent
The abolution is only for women who have finished having children (or not having them) as it makes it very difficult to pregnant after you have had it done but it doesnt work for everyone. Im sure you Gyno will help but at least you have some ideas of other things to try while they are sorting you out kiss

As NWC has already pointed out its for women who dont want or, have stopped having children. I was told under no circumstances get pregnant after the procedure as it could be quite I didnt intend having more children I went ahead with it. fortunately it did work for me but does not work for everyone.

Ifind getting out of her way.. moving all the knives the hammers and the car keys have made a fantastic difference.. Also just nodding in agreement to everything at times has helped, along with very deep meaningful chats about the important tthings in life, BIG brother..Peter and katie etc.. Made my life easier anyway! Oh and a Loft conversion.. Not for her but for me.. I come up here and let the world carry on regardless lol..
Bless lol..
Good luck xx

Last time I volunteered for that gig, they left me on that cross for an age and some bugger nicked all my clothes!
Has anyone found anything that works for cramps?
I never used to get the slightest bother with pmt, so much so that I never used to know when my periods were coming and going!
(warning boys- not pleasant monthly talk- look away now....)
I've recently started getting horrible periods pains/cramps, and cramp up so much that tampons are getting stuck cos and are too painful to try and remove.
Normal pain killers and hot water bottle take the edge off, but i get sudden stabbing pains that have me doubled over, even in the middle of working with a patient, and take my breath away!
Does anyone have anything they've tried? Anything specifically for cramps? When I asked in the chemist they said now the pms meds don't have anything to help cramping anymore. :cry:
Poor me- got my hot pack on in the middle of summer as we speak!
I've also started being knocked for six the day before my period starts (which are irregular so i never know when that is) when I sleep for the entire night as soon i get home from work, anyone found anything to help with that?!!?
:cry:

I used to get Mefenamic Acid prescribed and it was really helpful although the size of them makes me think they were made for horses lol
As for sleeping, when I was at school I used to sleep the day before. Nowadays its worse - I've slept most of this week so will watch any responses on the sleeping with interest...
i have never really suffered from pmt but i have two teenage daughters and the younger one suffered terrably, when ever shes on you only have to tell her to clean her room and she hates me, wants to live in a kids home, i bully her :shock: shes gone to hit me on a cpl of occasions and the crying and screaming is out of control plus shes slammed several doors off the hinges confused but when its not her time of the month shes quite a nice kid lol i dont have a clue how to help but any advice will be gratefully recieved

OK... I hear you!
But a fookin cheese grater? :shock: :scared:
Just spoke to Mr and we've talked about how angry and upset I was and still am about something that happened yesterday. I doubt I would be AS angry if it happened next week but as it is now, I could hit him. He feels so bad about it that he's offered to let me hit him! Deep down I know violence can never be justified in a relationship - I wouldn't think it was OK for a man to hit a woman however much they'd upset him so it can't be OK the other way round.
PMT versus my morals. If it was still yesterday the former might have won. :twisted:

Been taking notes :notes: on the replys to this one as I suffer from terrible PMT. Mr Lyns threatens to leave home everytime its getting close to that time of the month :lol2:
* Vitamin B5 & B6
* Magnesium
* Calcium
* Evening Primrose Oil
* Dong Quai
* Black Cohosh
* Selenium
* Vitamin E
* Zinc
All should help with PMS. They are all hormone balancing to some degree, a good health food shop should be able to offer advise. There are some places like Boots that sell a multivitamin type supplement including most of these ingredients.
Exercise and a balanced diet will help, too much junk food will encourage the bloatedness and cramps.

You have my sympathy, sincerely you do... my PMS has gotten worse over the past three years... poor GT!
Just silly little things that you could normally just ignore will trigger off the most irrational anger and while you are mouthing off, there is small yet sane part of your brain acknowledging that you are being incredibly unfair...
For me... if I eat the dreaded marmite, keep topped up with fluids (non-alcoholic) and eat small but regular amounts like a Mars Bar for brekkie followed by a packet of chocolate digestives for elevenses...
A wacking great cheese salad cob with crisps followed by chocolate gateaux for lunch...
Hagen Daz strawberry cheesecake at about
Pizza with chips and curly fries with a soupcon of salad (gotta stay healthy) for supper...
works for me! smile

If I get them at home I sometimes sit with my legs crossed on the floor (it's a long time since I could to the lotus :shocksmile and rock back and forward on my coccix. It relaxes the internal muscles.
Gentle, circular massage over the abdomen can help. Hard to do at work, but it might help you get some sleep.

Actually I find orgasms help - though I don't know if that would help with cramps as painful as yours sound. Poor you kiss
I know I've never had any problems up until about the last year :-(
massages, hot baths, painkillers all do a wee bit to help the pain, but don't take away the 'crampy pull' that makes me suddenly double over.
I don;t understand as i'm fairly healthy- eat a decent balanced diet and do enough exercise!!
