I had no probsa t all with my clit piercing, didn't even wait a weeklong :yes we know her she would never wait a week she would end up down the middle of the a19 lol (she knows what we mean by that)
think a trip to the doctors is in order, (yes would of been a trip to the docs lol if that truck had hit ya)

no maybe you didn't have any probs with yours, but then again you did whine for a week about it.
And i'm sure i wasn't alone on the A19, there was another naughty girl there too. And we shall not mention the phone box lol. ahhh so thats what me mrs meant about being engaged, thought she was gona run off with ya lol, ps ok hinny ill not mention about ya fear of moths (oops)
I seem to have got lucky with both my nipple piercings, had one for eight years, done by a ginger dreadlocked, heavily tattooed, piercings on his piercings biker in a tiny shop in Cardiff (great shop on a little back street in Splott, great guy, can't remember his name for the life of me). That one was done with no freeze spray and has had a 25mm diameter ring through it since 1997.
The other was done a year later and had some freeze spray, but also healed up fine. That was done by an old school mate who runs (or ran, not seen him for years) a piercing studio in the Oasis market in Brum, also highly recommended.
Having had one done with spray and one without, I'd have to say that it's not that painful without the spray, much less than you'd expect. It was no more painful than having my ear pierced with a stud gun (though I wouldn't do that again, a needle causes much less trauma).
Speaking practically for a moment, I'd suggest treating the frostbite with plenty of E45 cream or similar, and possibly using a light dressing to stop clothes chafing on it. Disclaimer: many years ago I was a pharmacy tech, not otherwise medically qualified.

can get a needle through but not the ring sad

They should be able to, the worst case scenario would be that they had to re-pierce, but if you can get a needle throuhg then you should be ok. When I've seen this done in the past they've used a needle with a plastic sleeve over it - push though, withdraw needle (leaving the sleeve in the piercing), and then push the jewellery on to the end of the plastic sleeve and pull it through. You might also think about getting some thinner jewellery to wear in it for a while, or a different style. A curved bar might be easier to insert than a ring, and after a couple of weeks you could try swapping it for a ring again.
Hi bhd1976 the shop in Cardiff is called Chrome and the guys name is Ed. He is an absolute angel, he talked to me several times in the month before I finally had mine done, he is so patient with people. I would reccomend anyone going.
Mine healed fine and hasnt reallyhad any problems. The only thing that surprised me was it gets more sensitive and sometimes slightly crusty during my period (I had it done months ago and it still does this). The crustyness isnt too bad I can live with it but the sensitive bit is really distracting. Mix that with cold or some rude thoughts and I moan! Which is embaressing in meetings!
I checked with Ed about the crusty part and he said it was usual in females and that we heal slower during menstration.
Any girlies out there notice the same thing or am I wierd?

No problem, glad to be able to help.
Hmmm Had a lot of piercings well 12 or so...
My best advice is twice daily cleaning with a strong saline solution. Some swear that lavendar oil is magical too. Taking ibuprofen helps reduce the swelling of sore tissue. Make sure that any cruddy bits are cleaned off the metal as they kill if the piercing is inflammed. Use separate cotton buds, or pads for each piercing. Soaking will help.
If the piercing moves too much, eg when sleeping, use micropore tape to fix it down. To remove the tape soak it off...for god's sake don't pull it off!
If it doesn't settle down well worth seeing your gp in case it is infected in which case antibiotics could help. If it does get infected, ie puss etc then DONT remove the ring...it will start to heal at the edges and may trap infection inside creating an abcess!
