Recently I posted a thread in which I mentioned that I was in the process of adopting a pussy cat from a rescue centre. Sadly I cannot have the poor little 14 week old mite that has suffered so terribly at the hands of his previous owners just yet His wounds have become infected and the vet wants him to be in A1 condition before he can be re-homed. We totally understand and so we will wait for him We could not resist bringing this gorgeous guy home though :inlove: His previous owners never allowed him to enter their home for all of his seven years apparently and he was kept outside. :( He was attacked by ferals on a regular basis but has happily recovered during his six weeks at the rescue centre :)
His journey here was traumatic, 60 miles caged in a carrier with people that he did not know, he cried and was so scared that he was unable to control his bowels poor love :( My arms are covered in bite marks and scratches after cleaning him up and settling him in here but so what :) 5 days in, he is totally at home here :) He is the daftest, soppiest, most loveable and affectionate pussy cat :) He fell asleep in my arms on Sunday night, laying on my lap, his head cradled in my hand and both his paws holding my fingers so tight *gulp* :) If you hold him, he practically wraps his paws around your neck and snuggles in lol!! :)
Anyway, enough of my mush I know this has been done before but I think it would be lovely to see pics and hear tales of our fellow forumites much loved pets if they would like to share them :D
Soo, courtesy of the lovely Leprechaun, my very good friend who took me to Blackpool to bring my new pussy cat home and who has been in some very strange positions tonight trying to capture my boy at his photogenic best ..... I present to you......... my adorable Clyde :D ......
