I adore Rocky Horror ..... simply can't get enough of it. Morbius bought me the 25th Anniversary DVD with the full audience participation biggrin well worth it.
We couldn't go to the previously arranged ones either sad so would definitely be up for the next outing
There's a light ............ over at the Frank N Stein place .... there's a li i ii ght ... burning in the fireplace.

Also missed the Manchester group outing.
However did manage to go with a very lovely lady a couple of months ago - and yes I did dress up!!!
By the way, if there are any midlands people who have missed out and fancy going it decends on Nottingham at the end of January/begining of Febuary.
I am considering going again so maybe a group trip could be fun.
Roger cool

lol   It was Jags' fault she's stalking me. Sorry redface surprisedops:
It's actually stupendously fucking brilliant.
Saw in town ooooh well just after the war redface Well anyway maybe 30 years ago, seen the movie too.
I agree. Absolutely brilliant flick. I have an ex in Florida to thank for my enlightenment. Went to Tampa a couple of times to see the audience participation thing on stage. Does anyone know where/if it's playing in London?
I think there is a cinema just off Leicester Square and Lyle Street, that does a showing every week, or at least there was at one time. But I haven't checked it out for several years. So have a snoop about and let us all know. lol
Michael Rennie was ill the day the earth stood still
But he told us where we stand
And Flash Gordon was there in silver underwear
Claude Raines was the invisible man
Then something went wrong for Fay Wray and King Kong
They got caught in a celluloid jam
Then at a deadly pace it came from outer space
And this is how the message ran:
Science Fiction – Double Feature
Dr. X will build a creature
See androids fighting Brad and Janet
Ann Francis stars in Forbidden Planet
Oh-oh at the late night, double feature, picture show.
I knew Leo G. Carroll was over a barrel
When Tarantula took to the hills
And I really got hot when I saw Janet Scott
Fight a Triffid that spits poison and kills
Dana Andrews said prunes gave him the runes
And passing them used lots of skills
But when worlds collide, said George Pal to his bride
I’m gonna give you some terrible thrills, like a:
Science Fiction – Double Feature
Dr. X will build a creature
See androids fighting Brad and Janet
Ann Francis stars in Forbidden Planet
Oh-oh at the late night, double feature, picture show.
I wanna go, oh-oh, to the late night double feature picture show.
By RKO, oh-oh, at the late night double feature picture show.
In the back row at the late night double feature picture show.
Even I love it.

I've never seen the flick, must do so. Only seen it on't stage.
I LOVE it - I took a carload of Rocky "virgins" to see the opening night in Liverpool a few years ago.
I'd lent them the film before hand and told them EVERYBODY would be in costume, so there we were in full costume, me in just bra, white waist slip and white sandals- and - apart from 3 Frank-en-furters - OMG everyone else was just in normal clothes! redface
As if that wasnt bad enough, on the Monday my boss asked me if i'd enjoyed the show, as he'd been sitting a few rows behind us...
Well i watched the film some years ago and i just cant remember much about it. I don't rember thinking this is shite !!! so it must have been ok.
But i don't know dunno

I thought the film was shite but I adored seeing it at the theatre :lol2:
I think the audience participation is what makes it so special wink
