this may sounds extreme but once when jo was in hospital the nurse told her to DRYshave
this isnt as bad as it sounds , first you need to cover the area to be shaved with loads of talc then use a SINGLE bladed razor ( not mach 3 ect ) this wil produce a smooth finish with no rash if you havnt got a single bladed razor one thing we have used and found very good is a good eletric razor in conjunction with the talc weve since switched to a lady shave from a philashave mans razor and can see the mans razor is far better but there again the the mans razor was Â£90 compaed to Â£20 for the lady shave so if you have a good electric razor gathering dust give it a try

It's cause you shave every day. I use to wax but went through a spell when I couldn't afford the waxing anymore so started shaving instead. I now shave everyday. I don't have the patience to grow it out for the next waxing which I can once again afford.
Shaving everyday and mosturising everyday get's rid of that nastly razor rash.

A post shave healer might help. Men use them aftershaving the face and it stops the rash, burning and itching. please note this is a cream and not a person, so don't go to your local alternative medicine store and ask are there any post shave healers about wink

a few months ago my brother decided he was gonna shave his back and chest so he got his misses to do it for him- she nearly took off one of his nips and his back looked like hes been atacked by an army of demented cats :shock: . recently he tried veet and came out in a rash all over. he now says hes stayin hairy. lol

but being hairy isnt a option in my case, i like the feel and look of being smooth so i guess its just a case of a daily shave.

if you want it realy smooth shave down first then shave it upwards. on the upward strokes be gentle as it can get sore, but very smooth and will only need doing a couple a times a week. biggrin

and of course sooth it with the tongue rolleyes

the only way i can get reallyyyyyyyy smoooooth down there, is to get staggy to shave me. i always seem to miss a few bits sad

. staggy is really good and oh so gentle and yes he does try it out with his tongue to see if he missed anything. i trust him completely now. i was on edge the first time he did it though. :thumbup:

I must admit, I briefly tried the idea of getting rid of the hair on my back when I was a teenager, but I very rapidly realised that if I wanted to follow this course of action it'd be like trying to paint the Forth bridge - normally I can just about remember to shave the parts of my face that aren't bearded (and a couple of other bits, but that shaving rash story can wait).
