Stockings or hold ups?

As a lover of womens underwear ( I do not wear it myself btw ) wink

, what do people prefere to wear, or prefere their partners to wear?
I always used to love stockings and suspenders, under a girls dress. and even better when that dress came off. But I think I now prefere hold ups.
What do girls prefere to wear, and what about guys? What do they like to see under that dress?

I can't be bothered with suspenders... perhaps because I've never found a suspender belt that was in the slightest way comfortable. I'm all for pervy but I need to be comfy too! :wink:

speaking from a male perspective (and not one from wearing them ;)) I like hold ups, gives free access to that lovely area at the top of the leg and leads to the valley of Lurve!

I really love the old style fully fashioned seamed stockings, but only with a basque or similar, suspender belts are so uncomfortable. Hold ups would never stay up (fat thighs :cry: )
However, now I have lost a bit of weight I'm really getting into holdups with lacy tops.

I'm a bit sensitive to the latex grippy bit round the top of hold-ups so tend to wear stockings. I agree that a suspender belt is uncomfortable, a basque is better but not terribly practical for all-day wear though wink

Stockings and suspenders definitely. :twisted: Love that delicate tracing of the seam running the length of a thigh, the line of the stocking top, the slow stroking of the smooth and delicate flesh beneath, the snap as the suspenders are unclipped, and the stocking slowly unrolled . . . .
Don't mind 'em on girlies either. lol

Debenhams deep lace hold ups expensive but lush (can order online to)

I misread this thread... I thought it said 'Stockings for Hold ups' and I envisaged Mr Kent losing it big time, deciding to go to the nearest branch of Northern Rock armed with a water pistol filled with lube, and was enquiring which denier of tight he should use to obscure his facial features.
I was therefore somewhat surprised to see it a general enquiry thread about preferences for hosiery.
I'm a traditionalist, I prefer stockings. But to be really truthful, I prefer what's in them far more.

it all depends what i am wearing to be honest ... if the outfit on top will take a basque i will wear stockings if its the outfit i got for my matching bra suspender belt i will wear stockings .. if just a general skirt its holdups .. or else i will put on whatever the other partner prefers as i dont really care .. girls if suspender belts are uncomphy perhaps your getting the wrong size or wearing it too tight. even the length and size of the stocking affect how comphortable a belt is

I love to see the outline of a suspender belt beneath a close fitting dress/skirt when a lady is seated but also enjoy the convenience of hold ups....

Hold ups although .... I've had a pair on today that have left sore red welts around my legs sad

(They weren't too tight btw, I apparently react with the rubber stuff :( )
Might invest in new suspender belt and return to proper stockings.
