Frost.
And the Rockford Files were always time well wasted. I liked the "normalness" of Jim Rockford - if you can call getting bullet holes in your car on every case "normal".
I must admit I love Frost too. Not only is it a great series ( although they had to tone the character down a lot from the books as they were afraid viewers wouldn't take kindly to David Jason playing a dirty old man, which is how Frist comes across in the books :giggle: ) but it shows how versatile David Jason is as an actor.
Some people you watch and you just see the actor and not the character.
Anyone remember Boney, the Aussie cop? Or one of the best from the 70s, Randall and Hopkirk ( Deceased ) Great !
