I have a couple of watches - battery gone, strap broken. I'm not even sure where they are. I use my phone or the many clocks around me at work.
I do feel that spending any more than £15 on a watch is a waste of money. Is the time better for £100? Nope. Do you get more time in the day? (I wish)
I don't get on with 'dress' watches (as a piece of jewelery) as they never seem to have the numbers on, or a second hand and are far too tiny to read. So I'd rather wear a bracelet.
I feel lost without my watch despite always having my phone with me.
I usually wear a small dainty Armani watch, I love the deep blue colour on the face. The strap used to be the same colour which really made it stand out but when it needed changing I was informed that Armani in their wisdom had discontinued that strap so now it has a black strap on it.
I also have a pretty Swatch watch for occasions where I`m likely to end up in a jacuzzi or a swimming pool.
For those people who are allergic to the watch backs Swatch watches usually have plastic cases and backs, they do some really nice ones.
If I want to know what the time is, I look out the window.
Light = Day Time
Dark = Night Time
I very rarely need more accuracy than that.
