I'm going to be cremated....but to panic my children at the ceremony I think I'll have this played...creul me...never ;)
"Six Feet Under"
In the morning I wake up
And in the night I sleep
Since the day that I was born
Repeat, repeat, repeat
Brought to this life
Born to this life
Where was I before?
Non-existent? Not at all?
Will I ever know?
Today is my birthday
And I get one every year
And some day...
Hard to believe
But I'll be buried six feet underground
Subconsciously motivated natural instinct
Alter nature for the pleasure
Orthocycline
Flirt with conception
Slow the cycle
Will the baby grow?
Social tradition interference
Control, control, control
Today is my birthday
And I get one every year
And some day...
Hard to believe
But I'll be buried six feet underground
I'll be dead and gone, no longer around
Spinning, spinning
Before I can recall
All the unknown chemicals
Control the cycle
The successive generations
From dust to dust
Burying my grandma
Then give birth to my own daughter
Today is my birthday
And I get one every year
And some day...
Hard to believe
But I'll be buried six feet underground
Today is my birthday
And I get one every year
And some day...
Hard to believe
But I'll be buried six feet underground
I'll be dead and gone, no longer around
I'll be buried six feet underground
After some thought, but not much it would have to be a Radiohead song, but what i'm still not like Pyramid Song,it always gives me goose pimples.
Maybe if i pooped my clogs like now it would have to be the Doves-Black and white town, just coz i bloody love it at the moment.
Quote by Jas-Tim
Shine on you crazy diamond - Pink Floyd
I did it my way - Sex Pistols
Wish you were here - Pink Floyd

Love the Floyd stuff, & could doubtless add a few others. The last thing I would want would be hymns.......... in fact I'd bloody well come back & give people a bollocking if such stuff was played at my funeral. mad  lol
Status Quo - Down Down
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man
Motorhead - (I Won't) Pay your Price or No Class
Rick biggrin
Had mine planned a while (jus organised that's all!)
I Just Can't Stop Loving You - lovely lyrics (enuff to make even peeps who didn't like me blub)
Your Song
Martha's Harbour (used to sing the kids off to sleep with it)
Good Riddance (another turning point a fork stuck in the road....)
And when they have all done with the wet stuff, probably Bruce or Queen (Fat Bottomed Girls! lol )

I can't remember what I chose.... I'm going to have to go and dig out the tape and see surprisedops:
Oh I'm soooooooooooooooooooo sad
seems appropriate to me
HOLE IN THE GROUND
by
Bernard Cribbins
There I was, a-digging this hole
A hole in the ground, so big and sort of round it was
There was I, digging it deep
It was flat at at the bottom and the sides were steep
When along, comes this bloke in a bowler which he lifted and scratched his head
Well we looked down the hole, poor demented soul and he said
Do you mind if I make a suggestion?
Don't dig there, dig it elsewhere
Your digging it round and it ought to be square
The shape of it's wrong, it's much much too long
And you can't put hole wher a hole don't belong
I ask, what a liberty eh
Nearly bashed him right in the bowler
Well there was I, stood in me hole
Shovelling earth for all I was worth
There was him, standing up there
So grand and official with his nose in the air
So I gave him a look sort of sideways and I leaned on my shvel and sighed
Well I lit me a fag and having took a drag I replied
I just couldnít bear, to dig it elsewhere
I'm digging it round co's I donít want it square
And if you disagree it don't bother me
Thatís the place where the holes gonna be
Well there we were, disscussing this hole
A hole in the groud so big and sort of round
Well it's not there now, the groundrs all flat
And beneath it is the bloke in the bowler hat
And that's that!
you gotta be sure enough to walk on through the night
there's a new day on the other side
cos I got hope in my soul
i keep on walkib, keep on walkin baby
all together ....relight my fire your love is my only desire
At my uncles funeral recently one of the sing-a-longs was "Are you going to San Francisco", it as quite amusing to have it sung in the usual rabbles low key!.
For me though, I don't care much,
Quote by as the great Sufi poet Rumi
"When I die I shall soar with angels and when I die to the angels what I shall become you cannot imagine."

Chris.
If I was cremated, I think I would have Jimmy Hendrix and ‘Fire’.
I can just hear it playing as the casket slides into the furnace…
I’ve only one burning desire…
Let me stand next to your fire….
Let me stand next to your fire… Let me stand next to your fire…

Other choices would be:
RHCP – Don’t forget me
Bob the Builder – Can We Fix It lol
something nautical for me, as i intend to be lobbed off a boat, for the fish to get a good meal out of me.
Perhaps the theme from Jaws might be appropriate.
Going back to my roots.
lol
RHCP - Don't forget me
I’m an ocean in your bedroom
Make you feel warm
Make you want to re-assume
Now we know it all for sure
I’m a dance hall dirty breakbeat
Make the snow fall
Up from underneath your feet
Not alone, I’ll be there
Tell me when you want to go
I’m a meth lab first rehab
Take it all off
And step inside the running cab
There’s a love that knows the way
I’m the rainbow in your jail cell
All the memories of
Everything you’ve ever smelled
Not alone, I’ll be there
Tell me when you want to go
Sideways falling
More will be revealed my friend
Don’t forget me
I can’t hide it
Come again make me excited
I’m an inbred and a pothead
Two legs that you spread
Inside the tool shed
Now we know it all for sure
I could show you
To the free field
Overcome and more
Will always be revealed
Not alone, I’ll be there
Tell me when you want to go
Sideways falling
More will be revealed my friend
Don’t forget me
I can’t hide it
Come again get me excited
I’m the bloodstain
On your shirt sleeve
Coming down and more are coming to believe
Now we know it all for sure
Make the hair stand
Up on your arm
Teach you how to dance
Inside the funny farm
Not alone, I’ll be there
Tell me when you want to go
