It has just struck me that in my 'day' life I don't know a single 'Steve' yet I've just had a count up and realised I know 11 Swingers by that name...
So what is it about blokes called Steve? Has anyone else noticed the Steve phenomenon?
'Colin' is fast catching up in popularity, though. Latest Colin count is 4 to nil (outside swinging circles).
Hxx
Hadnt noticed that one Heather, although I notice that 'Sue' seems to be popular amongst female and couple swingers. Maybe its something to do with the letter 'S' for 'Swinger'?
Steve

I hadn't noticed either, but then again, I don't ask names
Found this whilst playing select a random page number and read the posts - God I must be really bored! Any way I think Heather had a point!
How do most people select their names?
We selected ours through a cult film (for those who hadn't sussed it!) which is remotely linked to the swinging.
Anyone else???
A quick trall through my phone book found;
8 - Andrew / Andy's
5 - Mark's
6 - Paul's
4 - Steve's
Steve is the looser in this round at least.....
My ex-husband is a Steve.
He's a loser.
I heard a Mother calling her daughter Calista the other day in a shop and immediately turned round. Not often you hear such a name (mum was obviously an Ally McBeal fan) ..... the embarrassing part was that it isn't my real name either and I felt a fool after turning round LMAO redface
My real name isn't as rare now as it used to be and so I'm still caught out when someone calls a child and I turn round to answer!!!!!
Well Clare and Steve are our real names!!!
Steve is a popular name, but hey i don't know many that don't like it!
Clare,xxx
wink

lol @ Vix,
I havent seen any other Russ's, and certainly not one with an Abbott on the end... as is my case : / (parents and alcohol dont mix)
My dads name is steven, but im pretty sure hes not remotely interested in sex with other people,
My impression has been that Steve and Roger are the most common male names here on SH. I suppose the name Roger is appropriate on a site connected with sex...but "giving her a good Steveing"...no, I don't think it'll ever catch on....
Mike.

I know Heather wrote this a long time ago, but where are all these Colins?
Paul seems to be the name everyone has at the mo, well at my work at least. Currently there are five Pauls working in my dept, weird or what! And very confusing confused

How do you know for sure? Have you asked him? wink rotflmao
Am I the only "Randy" here? confused
My login name, "Reese", is just a nickname that some friends gave me back in the '80s. I've started using it a bit more since I've moved to the UK, as my given name is usually met with muffled giggles and bemusement (you have to forgive my parents, though - they're American).
Once, when Vix was introducing me to a colleague, he replied (after stifling his laughter) that I should change my name. "What's wrong with 'Randy'?" I asked. He replied, "Not your first name, your surname. Change it to 'Bastard'. Then, you'd be a 'Randy Bastard'!" lol
Strangely, it sorta fits... ;)
~Randy! surprised
Good, God!
I came over all funny, then... I thought someone had nicked my nick!
Where'd you did this thread up from? It's like waking up, trotting off to the dunny for the morning constitutional and being faced down by last night's 'evacuation' staring you right between the eyes!
Next time someone resurrects one of my old threads, will they please have the humanity to warn me..!!!
That's put me right off my breakfast.... rolleyes
Mind you things haven't changed much since last September. There is still a plethora of Steves about.
(Not that, that is a bad thing)
Edit>> Forgot to say my name is a race horse and is nothing, repeat nothing to do with football (Enough of the PM's from mad Glaswegian youths thank you)

I have a friend called Alan whose screen name is Alan - for some reason your posts always give me a wee fright.
I've never met another adult with my real name but in the last few years dozens of little ankle biters have appeared with it.
I am sorry celticq if my posts give you a wee fright but don't worry I am like a cuddly bear and I let you into a secret between me and you but promise you won't tell anyone wink  Alan is not my real name.

Well I decided to use the name of James Orange, I tried to register various combinations of the name on , & Lycos, eventually I got accepted with orangejam@ and thought that orange jam is marmalade, I think that was already taken on here so I went for Marmalaid which had better sexual inferences!
It's not so funny when you have to deconstruct it really...
