First AND Best albumbiggrinark Side Of The Moon by Pink Floyd I also reckon Another Brick In The Wall is one of the all time classic songs
My first album bought with my own money was ... "Favourite TV themes"... 30p at a boot sale and I still have it, alhough I've only ever played it once.
But my first proper album would have been Never Mind the Bollocks. That has been played over and over again!
First single I ever bought ---- Donny Osmond Puppy Love redface surprisedops:
I'll race you to the door well_busty_babe bolt
first record i bought was an album "no parlez" by paul young. favourite album is "lazer guided melodies" by spiritualised.
First, Rolling Stones : Fool to Cry
I'm so glad that almost by chance, the first album I bought (on audio cassette as I didn't yet have my own record player) was Paranoid by Black Sabbath. That set the tone for a whole misspent youth smile .
Favourite album is really tricky, I have so many that are appropriate for different timesand situations. If I had to pick one on the spur of the moment it'd almost certainly be by Led Zeppelin, probably IV.

1st record i think was something by Gary Newman - possibly cars.
My favourite, besides anything by Aaron Neville - is usually my latest buy, which this week is Cash.
takes me back to my youth remembering my father telling me that one day you'll listen to this music your calling crap, instead of all that synthesized sh*t.... was he right !!!

When I lost my virginity, it was to the sound of, ironically enough, For Those About To Rock!
Very first single I ever got (paid for with some money I had saved up) was when I was about fvie years old and it was Bay City Rollers, Bye Bye Baby. redface
When I started to get 'proper' spending money it would have been a Gary Newman or Madness single but cant remember which was my first one.
When Mr NWC and I first got together we used to get each other a single every week and the first I bought him was Musical Youth, Pass the Dutchie or whatever it was called, for some reason he didnt play it dunno

The very first record I bought was a 78rpm (remember them?)` Colonel Bogey Thene` from `The Bridge Over The River Kwie` by Mitch Millar and his Orchestra.
`Hitler! has only got one b**! the other is in the Albert Hall...`
Second, was Perry Como `Catch a Falling Star`
`...and put it on your pocket, never let it fade away...!
No worries on that score with North Star!
