I was wondering when does a newbie become a regular.
and when is somone regular enough for a munch?

Well it's par for the course to start posting in earnest when you've settled in after a few months. That's when you cut your spurs so to speak!

A newbie is a regular when:
you get bitchslapped often and you can actually laugh about it.
you start to complain about "all those newbies"
people actually remember you for who you are or what you look like rather than a half hearted post that was thrown up last week
you know what the abriviations mean without having to ask someone quietly through the PM
you become part of the SH gossip circular and people make things up about who you are shagging this week and how good you are/arent.
you then get PMs about folk complaining about you complaing and the mods threaten to ban you for one more outburst instead of just pressing the button right away
you crave the good old days when you cpould come online and not be hassled/ taken the piss out of/ followed/ stalked/ harrassed/ *add any other choice of annoyance here*
you spend 24/7 on here for at least one week in the hope of a new post that makes you laugh
you spend little time on here cos you have read all the funny stuff before
getting a PM from someone isn't *that* exciting anymore and doesnt make you feel like you were OMG actually noticed
you go back and edit your post to save your ass from getting more bitchslapping cos you offended someone by breathing out to heavily
And most importantly.... you know you are a regular when you have seen Neilnolongerinleeds make one of his very famous very drunken save the world kind of rants in a socialist styleeee.

It's not as exciting getting a PM now as it was when I first joined! C'mon guys, you can't actually admit that its like that first PM you ever recieved! That :bounce: factor is so minimised after the second one.......... in the day

you know the difference between a quality hijack and telling someone about the colour of fluff between your toes
you don't write comments about peoples web pages/pics in open forum, you send a PM and take the piss out of them to which they bring up something you had forgotten and you both wet yourselves laughing at the good times
you ask for info/advice via the PM system instead of putting up a thread which will get locked
your reply on the boards to someone reveals some funny annecdote from the last time you were drunk together
you read a post and wonder who the hell half the people who think they are regulars are
you've flounced at least once be it pubically swinging from the light fittings and screaming from the top of SH towers that you HATE EVERYONE AND SIMPLY CANT STAY ANY LONGER or ....... you flounce quietly in the sneak off and block the url on your pc kinda way
