Don't know if this has been done before, but who was your favourite James Bond?
Mine was Roger Moore first saw him in Moonraker does it always end up the one you grew up with.
Sorry going to be Timothy Dawlton. Love the way he turns the bad guy against his own men with nothing but his quick wit and silver tongue...
Grew up with Roger Moore and his classic one-liners, but I think Pierce Brosnan was a better all-rounder and more believable.
Timothy Dalton is mr ccr's favourite, Pierce Brosnan is my favourite..phwoar!! (There must be a phwoar button here somewhere.........)
ccr xxx
Of course it counts. He played James Bond on film. What more do you want?!?
It has to be Roger Moore for me!!!!!
Mrs Cov..xx
My favourite James Bond is Easy..............................no hold on there, Easy is Sean Connery, no hold on, is Sean Connery, Easy or is Easy, Sean Connery?
.................................................... Oh bugger it i've just found out Easy is superman, so was being James Bond his secret identity from being a Superhero? I'm confuzzled now!!!
Sean Connery followed by Pierce Brosnan, and i think Pierce should make a few more in my opinion he's not too old yet. Anyone have any thoughts on Pierces replacement?
Neal loves James Bond and we agree it was Roger Moore who was the best so far. Have they decided who the new one is going to be we think Martin Kemp would be great.
Well it looks like a tie between Sean and Roger at the moment, Roger Moore was perfect for the part after doing the Saint and so was Pierce Brosnan from doing Remington Steel so who could be the next Bond anyone know of any good TV actors?
EASY is definitely my favourite Bond.
Then Connery, Brosnan & Moore!
There can only be one Bond - Sean Connery! He does it for me!
Pierce Brosan 'cause I always wanted to jump on him when he was in Remmington Steele.
Teenage fantasies ..............ahh!
Fascinating replies! Whilst I love the Connery Bond and I enjoyed the Moore Bond, I too have to vote for Timothy Dalton. I believe that his Bond was sadly underratred - the script and story went a bit AWOL with License to Kill (more like a Bruce Willis vehicle than a Bond movie, but there you go...). There was a visceral edge to that version of the character that echoed the books and somehow seemed to be lacking in the others, even Connery (who, nevertheless, still remains the archetypal Bond).
I like the Brosnan Bond but it all just seems a little formulaic these days. Fun, I admit but still very formulaic. Anyway, isn't he just an older Remmington Steele...?!
G.
Wasn't Remington Steele just a younger James Bond?
